How to build 2x2 grow tent?

How tall is this 2x2 tent?

Because there's a lot on the market 4ft tall , really designed for clones and seedlings, not flowering plants.

Limited height can make it a lot more work.

Spend a little extra upfront and buy a 2x4, a 2x2 will give you next to no weed in the long run and you’ll 99% upgrade in the near future anyways, as everyone always does.

I should add one more 2x4 tent.

And along with this the most/best light you can afford. I'd spend everything on my light and then worry about everything else.

I DIY everything, but I found it's cheaper to but a tent then make one. Unless you can find a roll of canvas with diamond Mylar on one side. And have a decent sewing machine. I do have experience tent growing before tents, wrapping a lathe frame in plastic.

Well then you need to take that into account when buying a light.

A single 120w board needs to be 18" above plants. Then you've presumably got a filter and extractor, then you've got circulation fan, then you've got your pot height.

If you use two boards half power you don't need as much distance from tops of plants.

I diy'd my 3x3x6 tent with panda film and 1" PVC. If I had to do it again I'd just buy one, unless I needed/wanted some unusual size that was not commonly manufactured.

I’ve got a little Bestva. 105 true watts. This thing rocks!!! Cheap too.

I did. With predictable results. Plant was shorter than those in the big tent but buds were hard and colorful. 2’ square tent and absolutely couldn’t handle 2 plants. This one took up the tent.

Don't skimp on the light. This board looks killer for a 2x2. Meets or excedes all peramiters and Is very inexpensive for what you get.
The 150 watt of course.

Id go something like this. Around $70 USD from eBay, AliExpress or similar. 150w, Samsung lm281 diodes (288 diodes), sosen driver with dimmer. Picked up two the other day. They do well in a 2x2.

I picked them up as "greenfingers 1500w led grow light" for $115 Aussie dollars (72 USD), but they are everywhere under different names, especially in AliExpress.

That light looks like its void of any red diodes.
