Platinum Kush Breath EXPENSIVE germination problems

Anybody have any suggestions what is going on here? One came right up, the other 4, well, you can see what they look like. This was not a cheap problem. I have never had this happen before.

I’m guessing they’ll be fine but you deffo need more light intensity, that stretch is no joke
I think I was sold some REALLY old seeds and this is the result. But I am looking for other ideas. They are stretching a ton though for sure. I would have moved them before now if they were healthy but I didn't want to overdo the lighting until they spread out. They are at the edge of my mother/clone tent.

Sometimes when the casing has been attached still as they break surface it will shape the leaves the way urs are, maybe spray them with a little aloe and get some more light on them, now wouldn’t be a bad time to subject them to abit air movement to strengthen up the stem and gently persuade the leaves to open

edit: I really doubt that pkb seeds could be too old, we got dudes on here still popping seeds from the 70s lol

The seeds are fine it’s your error
Starter pots full of medium means you can’t add soil when initial stretch is so much, caused by inadequate lighting
Not a seed issue

Old seeds has nothing to do with it. They are stretching for more light. You can get a cheap lux meter to help you get a handle on proper light intensities, that really helps some new people. Here is a good germination guide https://www.mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Germination-Guide

I’d agree with @Rurumo
Great advise. Also. I’d have to give you a round of applause for jumping on in-house gear. Essp the pkb with min germination knowledge. Very brave. But these guys will help you get to where you need to be.

I am not a noob. This is my mother/clone/germ tent. I have 4 other tents in production with Ethos and Barney's Farm gear and outside of a male that snuck in with my Blue Gelato, I haven't ever had a problem with geminating seeds like this. Right behind them you can see a couple SAMO 78 from Ethos that I had NO PROBLEM with. In fact, this is the WORST germination I have had in 5 years and I have germinated HUNDREDS of seeds.

The media isn't wet. It looks like it might be but it isn't. These aren't damping off. They were slow to crack open, outside of the one that came right up, they stopped after shucking the shell.

The light definitely sucks but again, its a germination tent and doesn't need tons and hasn't been a problem before.

So your sprouting needs in your veg tent? And using it for mothers?. I mean. Do you really have to ask why your seedlings look like that? I’m sure you have cool genetics like the rest of us. And I apologize for assuming you were a noob. But it is a noob question no?
