If you riot, loot and destroy you should be arrested and put in jail. It makes no difference what political side they lean on, nor this is worse than that, etc. If we can't at least agree on that in America then I don't know what's next
So you agree when the looting started at our capital the president (cough) should have ordered shoot on sight ?
Instead of sitting around reveling in other Americans being beaten?

10,000 people were arrested during the BLM protests and at the end of the day, 120 either confessed or were found guilty. People who rioted and looted WERE arrested and put in jail for what they did at the BLM protests. What is your grievance? Seems you should be satisfied with the people being held accountable.

Were you really so angry about that not happening? Everything you said should have been done about the lawlessness that occurred around the BLM protests was done. As I said earlier, your ignorance is why you are angry. So maybe you should read more and you'll be less emotional about your unsubstantiated fears.

We are still sorting through the Jan 6 lawlessness. Trump hasn't been charged yet for his leadership role. In this I agree with you. Especially the leadership should pay.

I think the capitol should have been protected as much as they did during the 2020 riots, which was to fence it.

The Springs is way too close to The Junction.

At least 5 killed in shooting at LGBTQ club in Colorado

I'm so Comfortably Numb I put this in the first GOP thread listed on the board, not even making it's own thread.

"Yesterdays Mass Shooting" just below..the hate begins again.

History doesn't repeat itself but what Florida plans to do is one loud echo from the past.

The Suppression and Misuses of Academic Freedom During the Nazi Regime

In this short text, I can only broadly summarize the results of this vast body of work in four parts:
(1) political purges that made science/scholarship impossible for many scientists and scholars;
(2) attacks on the ideal of scientific objectivity and efforts to establish what has been called “ideologically correct science”;
(3) the “self-mobilization” of scientists (and scholars) and their research skills in support of Nazism’s central political/policy projects, before and during World War II;
(4) the phenomenon that is often equated with Nazi science per se, “murderous” science – experiments on nonconsenting human beings or their organs in the context of the murder of the Jews and the physically and mentally challenged.

that strikes me as a diagnostic for totalitarianism. The Soviets had Lysenko, whose Lamarckian false take on evolution was convenient to “scientific socialism”.

Totalitarians, fascists support whatever research and studies they find useful whether it be real or fake.

We close the circle in Florida.

Florida colleges would become hostile environments = no College Bowl.

I think it would change their economy; colleges are part of tourism.

Ron DeSanctimonious? Pundits keep saying they don't know what this means; I'm just surprised That Man even knows the word.

sanc·ti·mo·ni·ous

DEROGATORY

  1. making a show of being morally superior to other people.
    "what happened to all the sanctimonious talk about putting America first?"
