Elons Little Plan

Actually the best punishment would be to build a J6 wing at ADX Florence..let them all room together..forever..I do think Trump would try to get with El Chapo because Drug 'Lord'.
up until the 70s, they would have been shot, and we wouldn't have had to worry about housing them.
as it is, they should all be isolated from the rest of the prison population, not for their safety, but for the safety of the general inmate population. magats are all infected with stupidity and hate, and federal inmates are the last people they need to have exposed to that shit.

This from someone as big a liar as Trump and has a proven track record as a liar, he has no integrity or honor. Integrity starts with yourself Elon, leave Twitter and hire someone with character, if that is your goal. Be prepared to shovel in a lot of money though because people forgive mistakes much more readily than moral failings. If someone steals from you, it is difficult for them to regain your trust again, same for lying.

I totally agree; I want to know what he's doing though.
he'll be rotting in a cell...do you need hourly updates? the fat orange piece of shit has made the entire world about him, don't make his incarceration an extension of that...the worst punishment the world can impose on trump is ignoring him, once he's been made harmless and confined to a cell.

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2022/11/musk-recruits-engineers-for-twitter-2-0-after-mass-layoffs-and-resignations/

so...musk fires a shitload of people with no warning, issues point blank ultimatums, which drives away another big chunk of his staff, says shit like "if you want to work here, you have to be super hardcore and work 80 hours a week on salary", while facing sanctions and possibly huge fines in the EU for his labor practices?..and now he's recruiting, during a tech labor shortage?

no argument there. His management style is atrocious.
He's a complete jerk as far as how he deals with employees of his companies. Apparently he didn't have the best of childhoods so it's payback time.

I'm not nor will I ever be in a position of wealth like he is but if I was I'd behave more like a Bill Gates or Warren Buffet and do everything I could to stay out of the spotlight. I wouldn't do youtube videos while smoking a joint or post tweets about Dogecoin. Elon is more like a Howard Hughes always wanting to be looked up to by others.

There are better electric vehicles available than Tesla. And you have access to an already established network for repairs and parts if anything happens. Tesla's after purchase support is the worst there is.

Still waiting on that Cybertruck they hyped to keep the stock price up while it was slumping a couple years ago. Not a single production unit has been made. In the real world Ford Electric trucks are rolling off the factory floor right now. Close to 100 a day are being produced with a backlog of a few years. They're ramping up production and increasing capacity for demand so the daily production numbers will go up. It's a real truck as well not some stupid looking thing that looks like it's a prop for a Mad Max movie.

Every major automaker has electric vehicle offerings. It's not difficult technology. Electric motors and batteries. The European automakers have some really nice EV's as well.

I've worked in high tech industry since I graduated several decades ago. Guys like Musk are common and I've worked for people like him, even the part where they glorify overworking to the point where every extra hour is wasted due to exhaustion. I can't recall it ever turning out well. Almost always, the company goes belly up and the vulture capitalists are the ones who feast.

What Musk's ultimatum to his workforce is, is a demand that everybody work overtime until the company shuts down. The people who remain are the ones that didn't get offers from other companies. They might hold the company together for a while but the creative and knowledgeable ones are gone. Twitter has a tremendous number of users who depend on it for business reasons. Musk may need to start charging them big bucks in order to keep the company afloat for a while. He has them over a barrel But the system will eventually crash.

Meanwhile, as you say, Tesla has serious reliability issues. Who really owns SpaceX? My guess is, the bond holders will eventually.
