Calcium / Mag deficiency ?

So I started noticing brown spots the last couple of days and was told it shouldn't be too concerning. But today I went into the tent and the brown spots have moved all over my plants. I'm growing in coco soil with Gaia Green all purpose and bloom. I'm pretty new to growing and think it's a calcium / mag problem. If anyone knows if that can be the case or if tis something else any advice would be appreciated!

That does look like something is there. Do you know how to get rid of them? Because I know spraying the plants with liquids while budding is something you shouldn't do

I'd probably try a citric acid spray.

What size pots & how much fertilizer did you mix in?

I'm seeing Calcium, Iron and Potassium deficiency. That gaia green shit is not that great I've noticed. Either that or just not being used correctly. I think YouTube Growmies hyped it up a bit much.

Yes exactly. Coco and Gaia green only works for Canuck grows and barely st that. His plants look like shit joke yields and crispy fried disgusting fries. No offense but that’s where your headed with a coco/ Gaia green grow.

better To start planning next round in soil. You can still use your Gaia green but never gunna perform in coco like that

I can't see how any dry amendment would work well with coco. With coco you have to feed constantly, it takes time for dry amendments to be available to plant. Also, coco won't have the microbial life available to breakdown the amendments.

Mr Canuck is all about sponsorship and patreon, he is largely full of shit IMHO. I will watch his videos for a laugh and they do make me laugh.

I kept a plant outside all summer and barely took care of it, only got water out of the hose when I noticed it wilting. Pure coco and gaia green, it was healthy as can be up until it snowed and froze.

How did that work if it’s true what you are saying?

Every time I have ever tried coco I have had a complete mare with it. I used an amended coco in my outdoors poly tunnel this season and it was fucking awful, granted it wasn't Gaia Green, as you can't get it here. I did some tomatoes and autos in it and the results were awful. Yet the stuff I planted in some reused peat mix, amended with fish blood and bone, thrived.

My understanding is that a medium with microbial life will breakdown the amendments faster and make them available to plant sooner, which coco doesn't have. I have no explanation beyond that.

I'd love to be able to achieve what you have done there, as England has banned the sale of peat based soil. I have found a loop hole so I can still get it. I'd rather use amended coco as I can use it over and over. But as I said, doing what you did there didn't work for me. Normally my soil bill per grow is about £18, this time it was £50.

The higher intensity light/heat and usually lower humidity have a huge role in the demand for nutrients. Outdoors is much more forgiving in those respects.

I had this with a soil mix I made. Caused multiple issues indoors but outdoors the plants where much healthier.

Everything needs to be more dialled in for an indoor grow

Pick one. If it's coco mixed with soil, it's soil.

Sorry for the late reply. I ended up getting sick after the holiday and could barely do anything. Sad to say I had to cut down one plant because it was all withered and the buds were nonexistent. I've been trying to get them to go back to the dark healthy green they were, but it seems like whatever is causing them to die is still persistent. I've been adding General Hydroponics Armor Si in every watering 6ml to about a gallon of water. pH'd to 6.5. Not sure if that is the problem I am running into cause they still seem to be browning up and burning. This is week 4 into flower.

You nuked them with love. Not a deficiency...looks more like a toxicity.

Definitely have to add more than just those 2 I ran into deficiencies aswell so I started to use epsom salt and a bottle for demeters destiny by nectar for the gods..plants seem to uptake it fine ....so I'm not just wasting a feed with just water ..they always eating
