GAIA GREEN OR MILLS

I got lots of Gaia Green stuff and like it so far just mixing in with ProMix HP as a base. Also adding 3 types of composted manures, sheep, steer and mushroom and EWC. Still switching over from hydro nutes in the HP or DWC for the last 3 years. DWC is so much easier for me.

:peace:

I've always wanted to try DWC but never have always did living soils etc.

I've always had shit luck using real dirt. Could never keep a house plant alive to save my own life! :D

I've been messing around with organics added to ProMix HP and seem to be getting the hang of that so will continue along that line. Stocked up on bags of manure, Gaia Green nutes as in about 7 pails of stuff and a 10kg bag of the 4-4-4. Got 3 bags of earth worm castings too so shouldn't need nutes for ages now. My outdoor grows using all that stuff worked great but now hemp is being farmed around me so no more outdoor autos for me. :(

Not even growing that much pot these days. Have plenty in the freezer to make into oils and a couple pounds dry for the same use. Got 5gal of ISO at Costco a month ago so have lots to do over the winter. Mostly growing to breed plants and make fem seeds so will get more pot from those as I go along. Need a good all CBD photo strain yet.

Do you run mills yourself calvin.m16

I have in the past with great results. It reminds me of a less confusing House & Garden line. It is kinda expensive though IMO. I literally stepped backwards really far and started using Maxibloom after doing a side-by-side Maxibloom vs Jacks 12-4-16 RO. With Jacks I had to run Silica, Epsom Salts & Monopotassium Phosphate (PK booster) but for Maxi I literally run Potassium Silicate (PH UP) and MaxiBloom but I buy in the 50 pound bucket so it only costs me around $0.06/gal. I think if you buy in the smaller 16 pound tub it is like $0.08/gal and the 2.2 lb bag is like $0.11-0.12/gal.

Just make sure if you do run either one don't listen to their feed chart, it's too strong for what you will need most likely. Always feed low and if plants look light green or hungry up the strength yourself until they look happy.

Run mills if you want but honestly MaxiBloom does the same thing as a 1 part, just always make sure you pH adjust the maxi to 6.0-6.2 pH for optimal results, it mixes very acidic in Reverse Osmosis water.

Running that ph all the way thru the run?

So running the mills I need to run it on the low end I run everything of of pH and EC

So running the mills I need to run it on the low end I run everything of of pH and EC

VEG I ran mills @ 1.6 EC and in flower 2.0 EC. They recommend something kinda wild like 2.5 EC which might burn some plants. The easiest way to ruin a harvest is over feed it. Overfeeding will screw your yield and make plants just not perform to their max. Keep them hoes hungry on a leash wanting more.

Oh and I also brewed some boogie brew for 2 days then gave to them so we gonna see lol
And I'm growing in promix BX and used Great white mycorrhizae and I mixed a little gaia green 444 and glacier rock dust in the potting mix when transplanted

Do you plan to add mills on top of what you already have gave them? They shouldn't need it. I would do one or the other.

Yea I'm running the gaia green this run next run is all mills or I may do some mills and some gaia green when they start to need some nutrients...

i would give MIlls a shot by itself in promix and maybe use HP instead of BX so you can feed daily, bx tends to be a lot more water holding. Hell even do a side by side. That is what I started doing because I have wasted thousands of dollars trying new shit when I shoulda just kept using 1 thing.
