I know what you meant.. i never took it that way.. lol.. if my reply seemed like i was offended. i didnt mean it that way..

It happens as newer growth gains pigmentation. Although , the flip-side can happen on growth that has deficiencies ( intervein / margins / etc. )

Wouldn’t overthink it much right now - even as nitrogen seems a little high ( dark green ). But as long as you do not compound it ( overnuted ) .
Plant will burn thru excess on its own terms.

I see the node spacing more of an issue than overall plant. ( that could be strain related too ).
