laughable that you seem to think Twitter needed to follow the demands of the biden regime in suppressing the laptop story as they are some bastion of the truth. they are a private company: they chose what they chose to do. if you don't like it, change the channel.

IIRC, the trump regime and his personal DOJ aka FBI had the laptop while he was in charge. they chose not to do anything with it.

and you know what's the funniest, matt taibbi was and still is on twitter. guess their censorship doesn't keep him up at night, huh?
All of your comments make it clear that you don't really know anything about the "Twitter Files", and are simply speculating as to what it might be all about. The laptop isn't really the crux of the issue here, and if you were to actually educate yourself in this matter, you might realize how silly you sound. Your postings seem to be nothing but knee-jerk reactions based on what you think may be the story here. Unfortunately however, you clearly don't actually know the story, and apparently haven't even read the cliff notes.

Character assumes morality.
Why are you hung up on morality? Whose morals? There are a lot of right wing Christians who think Trump is wonderful.

Trump is the most immoral person to ever gain US national power and yet, we can see his character. He's a criminal who is simply in it for enrichment and power. I'm not condemning his lack of morality. I condemn him for what he's done. And not from a morality perspective, I condemn him for his attacks on our democracy, on our government and especially for his assumption that he can just take away what is mine and ours to make it all his.

This isn't about morality, it's about self defense.

let me sum it up and see if i'm right: twitter is a private company. and they can censor any posts or members they want to. and your bell cow, matt taibbi, is a conservative like you who whines like you about what twitter censored.

and the laptop was the crux of the first issue/version of the twitter files.

Click below to view the Twitter Files part 2 thread, which lists 30 specific issues.

cliff notes summary:
The Twitter Files provide limited evidence that the social-media platform’s former management sometimes enforced its terms of service in inconsistent and politically biased ways. The project offers overwhelming evidence that Twitter’s current management is using the platform to promote tendentious, partisan narratives and conservative misinformation. In that sense, Taibbi and Weiss have performed revelatory journalism.-- E Levitz

Thought it was a bunch of people who believe it is their Constitutional Right (!) to see hunter bidens penis. They were mad brandon was like "hey don't look at my kids dick." This Matt taibi guy then comes in like "but it's huge, couldn't swung the election, we can't have bias in publishing noodz."

This seems a lot like hillaries emails, big fat sack of nothing that people wave around like a smoking gun. Guess it's worth noting that people not understanding electronic mail led to some pizza joint getting shot up.

We are in the stupidest timeline.

Morality, like freedom and patriot, is a bruised and abused word.

Of course they can, I've already acknowledged that.

I'm not a conservative however. I voted for Biden, never voted for a Republican, and am a lot further left than most of the Democrats here. Just because I'm not firmly in the Democrat camp doesn't make me a conservative.

I think that's a fair assessment.

fair enough.
i kinda see your point of view that twitter does influence a lot of people but;
1. they sign up for it. everybody needs to think for themselves
2. the other side of the coin is the right wing influence of everything from infowars to fox news to most AM conservative hosts to mega churches.

i could care less. i'm not a tweeter and i'll never give elon a nickel

The problem is most people are too dumb to think for themselves.

Sure, but I think the problem is that a lot of people think that what's posted on Twitter is (or was) considered to be practicing "fair and accurate" content moderation practices, and that it could almost be considered a reliable news source, when in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

Elon to the Twitter base:

Nobody talks about me. Nobody.

LOL
By next election Trump won't be around and maybe some GOP congress people too over J6. Where will Twitter be if they keep on the same trajectory other than in a crater? Competition is coming and the news people are looking for it, so when it arrives free publicity won't be an issue! Where the news and celebs go, the eyeballs go and the ad money follows the eyeballs. Meanwhile Elon will need to deal with international regulators like the EU, Canada and the UK.

I imagine there is a facebook page or something that tracks Elon's plane. His fame or infamy threatens him and his family, and that is a result of his own narcissism which already cost him $44 billion and damaged his other businesses. Hubris might be getting Elon and his ego is leading him by the nose into the abyss. He appears to be jumping onto the Trumptanic as it begins it's death plunge into the depths and with each passing day appears more like Trump.
