Growing in a partially sunny area?

Thanks man
But do deers and other animals go after plants? ( I've read they do on tons of different places)
Sometimes they do. Insects and fungi go after them more often. When I was a kid growing up in OK, I grew some marijuana when it was still very illegal. Walked my ass an hour each way (uphill too) to the spot by a creek with 8-10 foot cliffs on both sides, in straight sand, with miracle grow in a bag and a plastic coffee can left by them. Grew some tall ass, big and healtht plants. I ruined them in the drying. Later Some buddies and I grew some plants in a sparsely wooded area. Filtered, diffuse sunlight is the best description of the lighting. No direct light except for an occasional direct hit from a beam through the trees. We topped them and had some fantastic looking plants budding out. Asshole(s) snagged them late July. This plant is resilient. It will try. Don't worry if you don't grow "the worlds best fucking weed." Just get your feet wet. Just don't get caught. A long way off in the future, but If you Cant grow indoors, where are you going to dry this shit out?

Some strains will do better than others. You don't want a sun loving sativa. Experiment. You'll find your answer through experience. Will you grow top shelf buds busting at the seams...no. but you'll get some weed to smoke probably. See if you can take some upper foliage out, climb some trees with a saw, cut out branches causing shade in the track of the sun. Humidity is always an issue in dense vegetation. Airflow is generally low and humidity gets trapped by the canopy. Things to keep in mind.
Generally the plant will grow bigger leaves to trap more sun and stretch more than it would under higher light conditions.

Thanks for the advice really appreciate it . I've trying to clear out some upper canopy so let's see how it works out ( also I'll be going for Indicas ) and as for the airflow and humidity i wouldn't say there is a lot of humidity but it's really windy out here so hopefully tht will sort out the airflow issue.
Also could u suggest some other plants i can grow along side so Canna plants are hidden? Would tomatos work well?

I would think strains that flourish in climates like those big ass banana palms are thriving on ….

NL maybe …. Afghani / Thai .
There are tropical strains out there , I’m sure others have some to mention.
‘I’m betting that soil is pretty good due to the foliage density.

‘but that’s me. *shrugs
