These are the six No voters, the distilled hard core of the spite caucus.

Even if the other two R Congressnotyetmen show for the late late show, the Six Horse’s Asses of the Apocalypse can still keep MosCarthy out of the office he thought would be his, like, totally fer shurr.

I am not expecting any of the half-dozen to step out of the way. I could be wrong.

I noticed that Matt Gaetz voted for Trump as Speaker for three of the votes. These final 6 are going for the glory.

They're the Never Kevin group..who do you think will defect first out of those six? I think you'd be able to any one of them with the right deal..Boebert the only female and vain..she wants Committee, to be relevant..that's why her nominations are so long..she doesn't feel as if she's taken seriously..she is, but her ideology is unpopular with the majority of the country.

Maybe Kevin shoud throw a "Cocktail Party" for the Assholes of the Apocalypses and slip them a Micky to keep them out of the vote tonight?

Two of those are going to vote for mccarthy and with the two others on their way back for the 10:00 pm vote mccarthy will be Speaker of the House. The other two wouldn't bother coming back unless there was a deal. Then the real fun starts bright and early Monday morning.

Why should she be taken seriously? She doesn't even have a high school education. She got her GED in 2020. No I don't take her seriously. She's a know nothing playing with our Democracy. She's not qualified to have a seat in our government.

I don't know but it won't be boebert or gaetz. They've both gone too far to turn back. I could be wrong but if those other two are headed back they must know something or else they wouldn't make the trip.
However they won’t change the outcome.

So unless you have reason to believe two of the Spite-Six are turning, no Speaker.

If two of the six flip and he gets two from those coming back he gets to 218.
so again: which two? A prognostication that bold must be the result of contrarian analysis, but reasoning nonetheless. And that means two names from the list. I am very curious how you arrived at the declarative (note bolded below) conclusion of “two will flip”. (Which you are muddying with the bolded above. You placed the bet.)

Like I said, I don't know which two. But the two coming back for the 10:00 show do. Why else would they come back just for another failed vote?

I arrived at my conclusion based on the information I have which is less than needed to be positive which is also why I stated that I could be wrong. Why would two members that had left return to vote just so mccarthy could get to 216? And if they are anti-mccarthy votes why would they return when there are already the six that could prevent mccarthy from getting to 218?

I believe two of those six are going to flip. I can't say which ones. We don't know any of the backroom details but these House members do.

The only muddying going on is from you. How the hell am I supposed to know which two are going to flip? Sounds like you're just shooting the messenger. You might want this spectacle to drag out for weeks and maybe I do too but it isn't going to happen. If the likely outcome ruined your day that's your problem not mine.

no...she isn't taken seriously...well, she is a serious threat to democracy and the American people, but outside of that, someone like her should never be taken seriously.
