Until all these election deniers are purged from govt. a sense of forboding will always exist, and this also goes for the senate(can't get T.Cruz out of my mind sponsoring AZ. contesting the vote). It's going to take a while which is very depressing and it's really hard to reach over the aisle in bipartisanship to get anything done in the meantime. These people lack ANY sense of morals and operate under a heads I win tails you lose mentality.
They never really believed it themselves, just the morons in the base. They will forget it, memory hole it and won't mention it again when Trump is gone, they will move on to more bullshit outrage, Trump who?

You will always have them, even without gerrymandered seats, Gaetz, MTG and even Bobo the clown all won their seats back along with a host of other real assholes, any way you look at them. Many of these republican house members are criminals, aside from J6 and some like Santos might go down for other crimes. This bunch of miscreants picking a fight with Jack will be a serious mistake, as will going after "his" people who are just doing their jobs. He will make it hurt so bad they dare not touch the red hot stove again, Joe has his back.

Does that go for Hillary too?

It's really frightening that some Americans will vote for such vile, unqualified individuals due to their distaste of Dems.,I'm not naive and their have always been scoundrels in the political sphere but today's rogues gallery in the legislative branch of gov. is dumbfounding. The main culprit being people losing any sense of objectivity in their gathering of news.

She lost by a million and conceeded,The Orange guy lost by 7MILLION and burnt the country down man, please. She stood up to hours upon hours of bloodthirsty Rep. senators grilling over Benghazi and held her own, your guy would melt like soft ice cream on a 100 degree day were he to face that. And by the way I was never big on Hillary and understood people's angst toward her,the sense of entitlement she displayed put the guy who damaged our country in proportions which can't be measured in the Whitehouse.

Whatever is supported by facts, did we see Trump ask Russia for election help on TV?
How many court cases did she file when she lost by the same number of electoral votes?
Did she quickly concede?
Did she stage an insurrection to try and cling to power?
Did she ruin thousands of lives with lies trying to become an autocrat?

I recall peaceful protests when Trump was elected and predictions of doom, many of which came true. None were organized by the democrats to question or impute the election results. It is the republicans who slipped into fascism and extra legal, anti democratic means to attain and hold power. They are losing, know it and need to cheat, lie and whip up hate to win, even if it hurts the country and themselves.

My guy? Who's that?

She did concede, but has also said over and over again how it was stolen from her. Sure, in the lessor of the two evils game, she wasn't as bad of a loser as Trump, but she wasn't a graceful one either.

Grace is difficult with Donald, it usually results in getting run over by lies and slander and a bunch of fools ready to believe decades of disinformation and spin attacking her. Some people's past conditioning is coming out, perhaps Trump just turned their stomach's temporarily? It's not what they stand for that counts, since they don't stand for anything, it's what they won't stand for, decency, integrity, honor, the rule of law and the constitution, that's what counts.

Yeah, Trump sucks. That's pretty obvious. His own filth doesn't somehow make other shit smell like roses though.

There are suppose to be degrees of Hell. People are on a spectrum and nobody is perfect, however some are clearly pathological and outliers, like Trump. Normal people also evolve and grow and politicians do what they must, with in reason to survive, but clearly many republicans are beyond reason and stand for nothing other than power. To vote for such people is not just foolish, it can be dangerous both to the country and oneself and family. When the shit hits the fan you want people of character in charge, locally and federally, sane people who care can help a lot in emergencies.

I don't believe in heaven and hell, but aside from that I generally agree. That's why I'm critical of those who I vote for. The Democrats aren't angels just because Donald is going to hell, but that's the picture which often gets painted.

Unfortunately America has become a one party state for patriots and it mostly has to do with the base of the republican party and those they nominate. America needs more than two parties, when one goes bad you are only left with one option in most cases and the republicans went bad to their core.

I've often said that the worst thing about our current Democracy is the 2-party system. The thing is, there are other parties here (ie: Peace & Freedom Party, Green Party, Libertarians, etc), but both major parties have used the "a vote for a third party is as good as a vote for the greater of the two evils" scare tactic for decades, in an attempt to keep only two parties in the game.

Lawrence: This will be the worst Republican House of Representatives in history

205,581 views Jan 10, 2023 #msnbc #mccarthy #republicans
MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell explains why discharge petitions, which Lawrence says is the ‘only road to sanity’ in a Republican-controlled House, will be the next parliamentary maneuver American voters will need to understand.

She won 3 million pop votes, lost the electoral votes in the so-called battle ground states, and then conceded, as follows:

Where do you get that she lost by a million? A million popular votes, I assume? Show the stats for that, please?
It's been this way since Dumbya v. Gore in 2000. Gore won, but Dumbya stole it. Trump stole it from Hillary. The pop vote
had to have been 7 million more than Trump got in 2020, or he'd have won that one too. It's the electoral college. That has
to go. The people are not represented. Bush (Dumbya) won twice with fewer popular votes, and Trump won once. Then
when he lost by 7 million he still says he won by a landslide. The pedophiles, thieves and criminals accuse the progressives
of doing what they do. Please, stop feeding their damn lies!

Yes, the electoral college college definitely needs to go, but it won't because the two major parties would never palate removal of the main tool which keeps third parties at bay.
