Not so much water lines, but a toilet line that sticks with winds like this. Haven't been able to block it from the outside and I've completely barricaded with plywood. As long as the furnace keeps going, and it's just a toilet line frozen, I'll be happy with that.Keep ‘em trickling…
Can you heat tape it?Not so much water lines, but a toilet line that sticks with winds like this. Haven't been able to block it from the outside and I've completely barricaded with plywood. As long as the furnace keeps going, and it's just a toilet line frozen, I'll be happy with that.
Some winters we can get a couple weeks of this.Fuck this shit!
It's a 2nd home on the property used by family when they're in town. It's a huge double wide that has insulation up underneath that is wrapped wicked tight with heavy mil plastic. I'm afraid if I get underneath and cut the plastic to expose that toilet line, I'll compromise the insulation/plastic and never get it back tight. I'll just have to go down and flush the toilet every 2 hours or so, all night. Honestly, I'd be stoked if it was just the toilet line that froze. This is going to be a bad one. Fingers crossed. Can you heat tape it?
