Liquid Steel should be added to the essentials for baby proofing.

I duct taped it closed and heaved it outside. Its sitting on the back of my truck until the dump opens.
If I buy another, it'll have the dial inside like a normal freezer.

Took a little hike with the kid. We saw what I believe to be the prints of a mama mountain lion and her cub(s?).

The big one is too big to be a bobcat, and the little one could be a bobcat but it’s also the right size for lion cubs.

Here’s a (bad) typical coyote print from today, you can see the little claw mark impressions at the end of the toes. Looks like this print got stepped on by hikers a few times, lol

That's awesome! Such a cool thing to show your son. 5-6 is an awesome age to get them in the woods. We do super light hiking several times in the county park here. Our biggest threat is usually turkeys lol. But it's almost always guaranteed to at least see some deer. Which is always cool to see anything. But I've watched 1 too many YouTube videos of animal attacks now and don't think I will ever going hiking without at least pepper spray ever again lol.

My dog Shelby got car sick. We used Dramamine and it worked well. It was recommended by the vet but I don't remember the dose.

That’s so cool . Your daughter is so lucky to have you for a father. I keep looking for mountain lion paws . They are going to be massive . The cats out here are huge.
