Tour Bus #3 - pre water
(DEMO x Urinal Cake #1)

Over looked #3 last run and thought #5 would be the keeper or I'd just keep hunting through seeds. #3's hitting the spot in flavour, high and stone and become one of my favourite go to smokes.

Revegged a lot of plants over the years, I normally pot up with some fresh soil, little water, 24 light for a week then back to 18/6. Found this to give over 90% success rate.
This time I cut away two thirds of the roots and down potted (10l to 3l pot) with a little fresh soil. Its worked and I've seen an increase in shoots coming out of sites rather than the buds themselves. Not sure now if I'll be keeping #5 but good to know I can be hard with this strain and it'll bounce right back. Will definitely be looking for a male from this chuck in the future to work with.

Without a doubt. These are already in the hands of testers. That same male also pollinated these which are all mostly with testers as well:

Animal Mints x Face Off
Cereal Milk
Duct Tape
Fatso
GMO Cookies
Grandiguava
Ice Cream Cake
Kush Mints
MAC1
Mango Mintality
NYC Piff #3
Papaya
Sundae Driver
Wedding Pie
White Runtz

I'm stuck in seed shucking jail for a minute.

Gday mate, I hit some of your Nigerian x Goji with my reversed Demo F2 cut and we are doing a 100 seed hunt in a greenhouse with that and a couple others. In early flower a couple of them are over 8 feet tall, will get some photos when they are further along. Cheers.

Nice, I'd love to see pics. That Nigerian Sunshine x Goji OG is a pretty special plant

Pulled the little 2x3 seed run yesterday. Ended up with 15 females / 7 strains from the Some Kinda Cake (SKC) seeds. These seeds were loose in jars so I know who the mother is but the father was one of two males used, Slice Cream Cake #5 or Urinal Cake #1. Its been great to have a run where I've not taken clones or have any high hopes of certain strains / finding keepers, just let it be.

Plants were flowered in 1ltr pots of soil when the seeds were a few weeks old under 150w of white LED strips.

Dub Bub was a 5 seed FEM pack freebie from Archive and is Kush Mints x Dosidos. Keeper has a real nice spearmint kush flavour, very stand out with great high / stone.

So I hear, I haven’t had the chance to get them
In rotation, but was able to share them with a grower that could. Still have a good handful to play with

I still have a stash of these, not many, but some saved for a rainy day. I also have a grip of the green NS pheno dusted with your Goji pollen as well. I never had many of those ones, and I would not expect them to have that cool purple calyx/bright white pistil contrast, but the green pheno had really great astringent terps that make it unique in its own right.

Incredible as always, four.
Sounds like it has a really nice flavor profile.

Thanks Tangerine

Very happy with the way #3 has turned out. The initial thoughts behind the chuck was to keep the frost from the Mother (Pirate Milk #4) but add in some more flavour. She's kept the frost and the flavour has improved although I didnt expect the flavour to go where it has lol.

Destroyer male about to get flipped. Has a way better structure than other male & 3 females, smells like juicy fruit gum. Not sure what females will get hit with pollen but defiantly Old Timers Haze. Already have some seeds I made with him that im going to pop soon, Durban Poison/Grape Pie x Destroyer. Really diggin my Destroyer females although they're a pain to grow. going to work a line with what I have.

He looks supah nice. Any of you chuckers got a tip for finding the seeds in the buds when they are not visible? Just went through a bud I had dusted using tweezers to pick seeds out and I don't know if these are called the calyxes or what but you see the little seed size pods that look like they might have a seed in them but only 1 out of 3 does...

Dry the buds til they are very dry, then just rub your hands together over a bowl or plate with the bud in between them and the seeds will drop out.

I can see how that will be helpful to me in a lot of cases. Still, I was hoping to hear a way to tell which pod has a seed in it and which doesn't. Especially if I want the seeds as soon as I harvest and don't want to over mangle the bud in the process. Then again I worry too much.

I feel at least in my case a lot of those seeds in calyxes end up on the floor when moving plants around. Seeds inside the bud don't shake out easily unless you break them up. I usually just collect the seeds as I smoke the buds if it's not too seeded.

That's a good idea too.
