I just checked this morning and the leaves haven’t died into the buds. I also checked trichomes and they aren’t orange. Is it typical for the pistols to turn mostly orange/brown without orange trichomes? I’m wondering if the nutrient burn stress prevented the plant from producing more white pistols and aided in premature browning of older pistols. I’m definitely going to wait for swollen calyxes now. It appears the plant has stopped burning. I’m just on a time crunch now between balancing nutrients and natural leaf death. The bud smells great and very floral regardless. I could probably harvest now, but I do want to see if it’ll get a decent size.
