Green House

I talked with a guy that has a Greenhouse.

He told me the Gas Heater should work. He said that is his problem keeping temperature regulated. Even now during the day it will get 80 degrees with nothing going.

Plant for hot Summer Shade Cloth, open it up, exhaust Fan and other Fans.

Was in it and checked temperature without doing anything and it is 77F so all good.

I was going to run Electric from our Pole my wife is saying it might be cheaper just to put another Pole in and Meter.

Why not just run direct burial cable out there, 15 or 20 amps should be plenty.
Was thinking about it from the Pole. But first off Water Lines, Telephone and Water.

She was going to run Cable to a Breaker Box but that would cost.

Going to run Water from the house to a Hydrant by the Greenhouse so I can Water my Fruit Trees.

Nice greenhouse. I suggest you put some lights inside and install a blackout cover. Plant an early light dep run that you can harvest in June and re-plant a summer run to harvest in Oct-Nov. Skip the heater and take the winter off. Winter grows don't produce enough to be worth the trouble/costs. You would do real well with 2 nice pulls a year out of that greenhouse. 80 to 100 lbs a year depending on strains.
I have done a lot of greenhouse grows, let me know if you would like more info. Best of luck that's a beautiful greenhouse

Hello, I need some advice. First time green house growing. Any ideas on how to best support a green house from high winds?

I got the vivosun greenhouse and after a good day of high winds, the inside laces of the cover that tie around the frame, ripped from the stitching. Luckily the cover didn’t fly into another yard. I’m probably gonna poke some holes and zip tie the cover down. Reinforce it with gorilla tape.
If anyone has more experience I’d be open to try, I got some plants waiting on me to repair this green house.

thanks
I had Mother Nature flip my greenhouse over a few weeks after I had packed everything up inside it. I took some 5gal buckets, and filled them with water, capped them & use them to hold the flaps down along the sides of the greenhouse. Front & back as well. At least 3 buckets on the long sides. It’s held up all winter. In a couple of months I’m going to buy another cover for it & reuse the buckets to hold it down. If the wind can be kept from getting inside, chances of it surviving are greater.

OK cost $1,000 to put a Pole in for 500 feet from connection.

Well talked with another Grower.

She said use the Propane Heater, just run Electric from the House put couple more Breakers in. And run water from the House.

She said with the way the Government is she would not grow Weed in it because all they need is one person complain and there is no arguing they will shut me down forever. So continue in the Tent.

Told her my water from the tap is 8.5 PH but I've been bringing in down to 6. She said continue.

Plus she is cute but that's another matter.

I built this thing. It absolutely bakes in the day time getting up to 100f on 50 degree days but is only holds about 7 over ambient over night and losing all heat with circulation on. What's the best way to seal this at night now, and what's the best material to light depo in the summer so it doesn't cook
