Clearwater Genetics

Hey all!
Sorry to crash in.
Been reading through this thread for a while and looks like there are alot of good growers pushing out the clearwater genetics.
I'm about to purchase some seeds from them and wondered if anyone has had much success with the following strains:

White Hot Screamsicle
Guava Melt
Black Orchard
Gushers N Cream

Thanks!

I’m growing guava melt right now and can tell you about it’s growth structure. Definitely leans more to indica. Short bushy and pretty resilient. She is pretty slow in veg so far. Medium to light feeder.

I also was wondering if anyone had any experience running anything from the Creamsicle line. Was thinking about running one outdoor this spring.

this is good to hear, may I ask what the climate was like where you ran them? I’m in Massachusetts and bud rot can really be a problem with super dense indica types
There are sprays now days to not get bud rot, you just have to be on a schedule to do it every week. I use Purecrop1. All organic and you can spray right up till harvest. Lost coast therapy is another I good things about.

This is so ridiculous and irresponsible. The so-called "organic" products you are peddling are food grade. It is not safe to smoke soybean oil and corn oil!!! You have no idea where these oils come from or how they are made either. If you plan to make edibles, by all means, use it up to day of harvest! If you plan to smoke the end product, you might want to think twice about how safe it is to combust and breath in the vapors of what you are spraying. It would be wiser to limit yourself to strains that are proven outdoors in your region.

I did malt milkshake and it had huge colas and gassy terps. Only ran two but I’d run it again and see what else is in there

Listen man I'm not going to turn this into a big agreement. You can do whatever u want. I've been growing in Mendocino county for over 15 years in 300 gallon pots and not jut 1 or 2.... know that I'm doing, and also know what the people in the industry use to test clean. I've done my research on the product. But again, do whatever u want.

I’m familiar with the giant NorCal outdoor plants coated in soybean oil that nobody wants. Don’t pat yourself on the back you might break your spine

10 triangle kush x karma sour ready to be turned into clones tonight. Had a major magnesium deficiency from cold temps but bumping up the heat and hitting them with epsom salts has the new growth looking great. Hopefully get them rooted and grown out by end of march for a mid June harvest.

Couple questions about treating the magnesium deficiency: Did you foliar spray or add to regular nutrient mix? How much are you using per gallon? And how often are you applying?

Congrats on finding a solution.

I like to foliar it but you can definitely add it to your nutrient mix. I do 1 gram per gallon and ph to 5.8ish. Use a surfactant like Dr bronners or yucca extract. I hit them with that mix about 3 times in a week and the issue was cleared up. Adding some kelp and fulvic with the epsom would be even better but not necessary.

Thanks for all the details. Much appreciated. I think I’m set.
