Phototropism in action my friend, she's simply bending in the direction of the light source. Also you should water more of the surrounding area as the roots seek out water and grow the soil needs to be moist fire their growth. Is it bending this way bc of the light? None of the others are doing this

Oh yeah. It's not really stretching abnormally. Some go 8" like that and need support to stand but in a couple weeks it looks fine and you want a few inches of space between the leaves and the soil so air can circulate to help prevent fungi and moulds finding a good home and causing stem rot.Is it bending this way bc of the light? Ok, and it was 1 ft from the plants now it’s 8in away and she still keeps bending different ways, I’m not touching it at allPhototropism in action my friend, she's simply bending in the direction of the light source. How high are your lights above your seedlings?
It sprouted 4 days agoLooks like week 3 and the stretch is coming to a slow.
What are you using for light with it? Something like 9W LED bulbs or older 23W CFLs should be as close as 2 or 3" from the tops to supply enough light and prevent excessive stretching. I use a small light meter on one of those cheap 3-in-1 plant probes to check light intensity from my various light sources. It's not telling me how many lumens exactly but I can tell from the reading if they are getting enough or too much light from a good light source. It sprouted 4 days ago
It’s 80 deg 60 humidity I have them in a little shade not all the way in sun and I only plan to keep them out 3 hoursWhat sre your outside temps? Might not want to put that in full sun/windtoo long at first increase like you would to harden off. Atleast keep checking on it imo
Should i worry about the purple on the stem if u can see it, cause it’s happening to all of my seedlings idk if it’s the soil or they’re too cold in my closetWhat sre your outside temps? Since your seedling shows no symptoms of stress or nutrient deficiencies it's simply your plant creating a bit of sunblock against UV rays and it's healthy and normal. Marijuana plants will also do this under intense lighting even without UV.Should i worry about the purple on the stem if u can see it, cause it’s happening to all of my seedlings idk if it’s the soil or they’re too cold in my closet
So what you’re saying is I should turn down my led light?Since your seedling shows no symptoms of stress or nutrient deficiencies it's simply your plant creating a bit of sunblock against UV rays and it's healthy and normal. Marijuana plants will also do this under intense lighting even without UV.
Red stems with yellowing leaves and then brown spots is phosphorus deficiency and occurs in flower phase.
If your plants are dwelling and aren't bleaching or showing signs of light stress then absolutely not. As long as your plant appears a healthy green, no yellowing, not closing leaves or dry to the touch then a little reddish or purple in the stem is your plant doing what it needs to protect itself just fine.So what you’re saying is I should turn down my led light?
