Input welcome, old dog new tricks.

 bongsmilie Sounds like a win! Its crazy how folks always think high cost brand lights will be better for your plants or maybe last longer. Idk. Got a friend and its perfect for his small grow and budget. Thanks for recommending.
No problem. They use the samsung lm281b+ diodes. Ive had 0 problems. They got me growing again. Heres the current grow. Its smaller than the last so far but that mephisto reeks already. Your friend cant go wrong starting out on a small grow. I just like weed so much that im ready for more plants.

looking nice and healthy! Which Mephisto strain did you go with?

Tried some different photo methods in the garden yesterday.. with little success, want to get some really nice photos, might need a diffuser. But thought I’d share a few as this run isn’t too far away from done.. 2 or three more weeks I’d guess.

3 bears OG. They are pretty small plants but they flower fast and are stinky! The Fast Buds GSC auto is fast overtaking sizewize. Its grown 6 inches in 8 days. So far im happy. Im just glad i planted 2 3BOG'S cause it looks like 2 maybe 3 zips a plant unless something major happens.

mumbletypeg, yup, great name. great grow. As a non-grower, but avid
grower fan and member of RIU, i'd say you pulled some nugs way too
early. gotta let 'em dense up, is what i read all the time in RIU. Other
than that, tho, wow what fab operation you have.

You're in Oz, yeah? at least that's a name on the beer can in your pix. KOKO. ^5

thank’s for the input mate, nah not in Aus.. cans an import. And yes haha Came close to losing a toe or two when I was a pup playing Mumbeltypeg

Wow.. the girls have decided they are not done yet.. went in this morning and boom! they have started a new growth spurt, right through the whole room, very interesting.. different strains, different res tanks with different Chems and yet the whole room has exploded with a heap of new bulking growth.. must be something to do with the two day cold snap we had is all I can put it down to..
not unhappy

Yep, definately gonna be awhile longer. You still got a decent amount left from last time to get you through? Man i love your growspace. I bet its smelling good in there. Always a pleasure to see what the old dog is up to.

Yeah I’m in no hurry, I really wasn’t trying to chop early last time either.. they are a tricky one to judge, they get to to point where they have mostly browned off and then just when I would go to flush they start a whole new layer of growth covering the outside.. never seen it before, kind of like full coverage foxtails.. they show milky and amber trichomes on the old growth, but clear on the new.

I’m going to try dropping the co2 down to 600ppm and bring my temps/humidity/PPFD all down as well for the last couple of weeks.. have read a few threads around with people saying pumping everything to the max in till harvest effects the ripening process.. inhibition of ethylene production or something? I know I should probably read a book but I figure we shall just do a test drive and see how it goes.. I have felt something is not quite right at the end of flower so we shall see..

That sounds like a good idea to me but what do I know lol. I just got my new light and im going to try running just the red spectrum lights for the last 2-3 hours each day. Ive read that it mimics how outdoors the sun gives more red light those last couple hours before sundown. Experimentation breeds success....eventually anyhow. I may not have learned how to do everything right but I sure as hell have figured out alot of things i was doing wrong. Last pic I saw of your grow looked great dude. You totally got it this time. Youre gonna spend alot of time in trim jail this run old man :)

In senescence of plants, similar to people we eat less. You could taper their nutrients a bit as they slow uptake.

That sounds like a good experiment with the red light, be interested to hear how you go with that.. I have a couple of uv/far red lights I’m going to play with in this new set up.. which is nearly ready to go, Ill chuck some shots up.
**haha trim Jail Sucks but it’s a problem I need to have**

New growspace update.. nearly there, just need to hook pipes up, and connect all my climate control gear together and add media.
I’m getting very excited, going to flower 50/50 blueberry hashplant and jack herer in the 5x10
And f/lemon cheese and Darcie cherry in the 4x4.. that’s the plan for now anyhow..

Found something I thought was interesting enough to share.. photos taken with lights off and flash only in the dark really highlight any deficiencies in the plants when compared to lights on.
might implement this in to my QC schedule
