Examples of GOP Leadership

Extraditing Donald would put Ron in a spot, he would piss Donald and his fans off if he did, but it would get Donald out of the way for his run at POTUS and Donald is in the lead for the GOP nomination.

A petty mean spirited prick like desantis? He'd extradite trump and his entire family in a heartbeat, and have that shitty, smug, self satisfied smirk on his face while he was doing it

Why conservatives don't want to say what 'woke' means
Because, they, like everyone else doesn't know..there's no definition.

I wonder who the first GOPer was to use? That would be the person to ask.

Maybe Chat GPT will know..speaking of which there's a new v.

eh Texas good start, but wouldn't be easier just to raise the age limit while doing this.....18 to 21 it isn't hard, we have the technology..

But that would take away the rite of passage from mass murderer to young adult.

In English woke means aware, conscious as opposed to unconscious and asleep at the wheel, it means being mindful and if one is mindful, it is difficult to be a republican. Republicans have to filter so much of reality out they might as well be asleep, to be awake is to be aware of the hazards around you and not walk into obvious things that will harm you, unless you are blinded by something...

Every grift needs a hook and traditionally they were greed and religion for the most part but hate and fear can be used to gather the vulnerable into a sort of tribe that can be easily manipulated by using their character flaws against themselves. They prey on the weak minded, the stupid or those stupid enough to allow themselves to be controlled by hate and fear. Racist and bigots are the biggest suckers of all and can be played easily like fish on a line by blowing Dixie on the dog whistle. These ones will actually fuck themselves and throw themselves under the bus of History for the "greater cause", a rather fuzzyheaded notion at best and treason at worse.

What a pathetic asshole. You know he only has a ba in history? He isn't qualified as an expert in ANYTHING, even history...
he's just a horrible little excuse for a man...His children are growing up with such a handicap, they're going to be horrible people, too...

We KNOW you have experience with video, fucker, but how about with reading, or actually watching the video before you make more careless mistakes. Oh, sorry, i forgot, that's your "style" of "reporting"...Sorry for the quote marks, but when you don't actually do a thing you say you do, they're kind of required.

He could refuse to extradite, knowing that prosecutors would still get it done. Like some witnesses saying "I want to talk, but you need to subpoena me." In that way Meatball could tell the deplorables he did all he could.

So, while these goofs rip off billions of dollars, half the Government is busy tying up the courts with either frivolous lawsuits or trying to pass bills to remove prosecutors in certain States. With these goofs smack dab in the middle of it. Meanwhile the HGIC (Head Goof In Charge) is busy "trumpeting" the same meaningless verbal diarrhea while maintaining a healthy income from "sources" that the USA is actually fighting against.

Am I following this tiny fragment of the situation correctly?

The parallels are both amazing and funny if you watch with your favorite Political figure(s) in mind.

what are you talking about?

True, but Trump would lie about it, blame Ron and set the base on him as a "sell out"! Remember facts don't count with this bunch and that can have its hazards! They will be running against each other in the primary and Donald will convince himself of it.

it's not true...did you read the story in my post that you liked a few minutes ago? all desantis can do is make it take 60 days longer, then it's out of his hands. If NY decides to take the second option, desantis doesn't can't even do that, he's out of the picture.

I was riffing on the Rudi G pic and the former leader of your country. Nothing more to it.

EDIT: Oh yeah. I was also doing a small chirp on the sitcheeation down in Georgia with some current Political "masterminds" trying to tie shit up.

After all we've seen, do you seriously think facts and reality matter to Trump's hardcore fan base? If Donald tells them meatball Ron sold them out some of them will believe it and things are so tight in presidential politics that just 10% of republicans believing Trump and sticking with him would be fatal to the GOP in a national election. That's why the republicans fear him so much, if he walks with his base they are fucked, and Trump will lie about Ron and figure he fucked him if he "allows" him to be extradited.

Do you think Donald will say Ron is not to blame and had no choice? Or is Ron part of the "deep state" too?

that wasn't the point...we were not talking about how republicunts will react to desantis, we were talking about whether or not he would extradite trump, and i pointed out that he is a purely ceremonial figure in that process, who can be entirely side stepped by the courts.

Everything is related to the election and politics and if the republicans are divided and pissed at each other the better the chances of beating them. I never argued the law, I'm just pointing out the inevitable consequences for meatball Ron, these are not rational actors or fact-based people, and Donald will blame him no matter what the facts are. The only question I see is how much it might affect the eventual election with meatball Ron as the nominee and Donald in custody. Ron stands a very good chance of becoming POTUS according to polling, America hasn't had enough of this bullshit by a long shot and almost half the voters are not dealing in reality. So, Donald saying Ron sold him out will make a difference to this bunch of moral failures, no matter what the actual facts are, they get a vote just like you.

To be realistic, if NY or Georgia had to go through the trouble of extraditing Trump from Florida, it would mean locking him up until trial, after they arraigned him for a plea, which is why they won't need to extradite him, he will want bail or conditional release.
