What’s fun to do in New Orleans? Besides drinking…View attachment 5273230
It's worth the time to visit the French Quarter.

The Voodoo shops are interesting.

Wander down some of the back alleys, and you may find some "after hours" clubs.

Last time I was there, a group of college kids were paying a dominatrix to flog them in public.

If public flogging is not your thing, then maybe you want to be a little more discreet.

I can only personally vouch for the G to slightly R rated NO excursions. I only got to partake in the New Orleans adult entertainments once sort-of. Unfortunately it was for a friend's bachelor party. Which for him drinking was athe ONLY party and seeing a pair of breasts other than his girl's was almost committing adultery. His words, not mine. So our tour of the less G rated side of New Orleans was really, really, muted. That was in my 20's and I can say, even at that point I'd been to many better strip clubs than we went to in New Orleans.

I was back in Louisiana about a year after Katrina and got to get a hotel in N.O. for one weekend, when I escaped from cleaning year old swamp mud out of Dell servers. Unfortunately again, I didn't have the opportunity to partake in the red light specials, after almost 30 years my marriage has far-FAR more latitude than a lot of marriages, partaking in that kind of entertainment without her would have been a bad, bad idea.

Hell she got free lap-dances when we went to strip clubs in college. I didn't get in trouble if I went with the guys, I got in trouble if I didn't take her too. So maybe, one day she and I will actually take a vacation there that doesn't involve work or hardcore religious fanatics. There are some higher class swingers clubs there we've wanted to hit for almost 15 years. Sigh, that's on the bucket list somewhere before or around Burning Man. Oh well.

I'd eat that
They're hearty with a good bit of meat and cheese. I'm just spoiled from a really good Italian restaurant named Strombolis I used to work for that specialized in them. Having had the really good authentic ones everything else is so so. I'm the same way with pizza because I worked for Dominos Pizza for years and made some really good pizzas with my own ingredients and their dough. At least with Dominos I got a real Rolex watch for the record sales in my store, all I got from Strombolis was a big gut :bigjoint: .
