Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles didn't want you to see his college transcript. We got it anyway.

Among the findings: the freshman Republican is a self-proclaimed economist who, it turns out, only took one community college Economics course, which he barely passed. And it reveals that he still hasn't been telling the truth about his college degree.

Did Fox News Melt This County's Brain?

More than 2 years after the 2020 presidential election, the small California community of Shasta County terminated its contract with Dominion Voting Systems. They’re the first county in the state to do so.

Three county supervisors voted to end the contract, despite warnings from the county CEO that it will cost more than $1 million to buy a new voting system and train employees.

Their argument? That you can’t put a price on voter confidence, so the Dominion systems had to go.

You can't put a price on competent elected officials...
Fox should have to foot the bill for every district that decides to replace a dominion or smartmatic system because of their lies, and dominion and smartmatic should get recompensated for their losses, on top of the judgements.

As republicans go, not that bad...but still a republican, who gave tax cuts to Arkansas's wealthiest citizens, restricted abortion access, and enacted work requirements for social assistance...
So, I'd vote for for him for president before most other republicans, but that would still be after i had voted for ANY democrat, most rodeo clowns, anyone who can juggle more than three items at a time, or Richard Bruno Riddick, who would be my prime choice, even against democrats....

The really sad part is they won't change their minds even when presented with overwhelming evidence and just dig in. So yeah, character counts with elected officials, when bad ones slip in, at even a local level, they can do a lot of damage. Dominion needs to haul this guy who won't listen to facts onto the stand for their lawsuit.

We use paper ballots in Canada, but choices are simple with one position on the ballot, but if you are electing dog catchers too, it gets unnecessarily complicated. Electing local officials and minor roles allows them to skirt the constitution and practice bigotry, they can't be fired, they were elected, so even tax collectors and dog catchers are elected. In most other places, just the politicians are elected, and the rest are hired, the reason it is done that way in many places in America is to "git" the brown folks and make their lives miserable, right down to taking and killing their fucking dog. So ya made things so complicated for citizens that apathy set in and school boards and such are filled with extremist assholes. Places need voting machines because dozens of public officials are elected and elected office is a magnet for grifters.

Both of them have to go...I have NO faith in a fair and impartial court while either of them walk free.

i'm curious gary, why do you find that funny?
ginni thomas is deeply involved in the sedition conspiracy, illegal fund raising, and the activities of white christian nationalist organizations...they apparently don't have a problem with her being married to clarence, as he is the whitest black man alive...
clarence refuses to recuse himself from any case having to do with Jan 6th, which clearly and obviously places him in the middle of a huge pool of conflicted interests...and who knows how many cases have actually been decided by or influenced by ginni, telling clarence what to do?
that kind of blatant interference in the countries highest court doesn't seem like a reason to laugh, but you do you....

That is another reason why winning in 24 is important, there is no statute of limitations on this shit and a new house judiciary committee can have "impeachment inquires, or investigations." These are preliminary steps to an actual impeachment vote by the house and would involve public hearings and sworn testimony and a SCOTUS justice cannot refuse a congressional subpoena without being impeached! That might force Clarance to resign, and other investigations of other justices could force their retirements or resignations too, Kavaughn, Alito and Conehead are vulnerable to this form of attack. So one or two assholes gone right there and the rest with very sore assholes, then Joe selecting their replacements. They cheated to appoint these ass holes, so play hardball to get rid of them or scare the living shit out of them and humiliate them in public. They are fascists or suspected of it and are tainted by it and their association with it, they are ideologs and thus unfit to serve.

The enemy of his enemy, I figure. Another Republican who sees winning by cheating as primarily winning.

Judge-shopping.

Completely obscene that enemies can find ANY JUDGE ANYWHERE and *shut down acts of Congress for the entire nation*

Unelected tin-pot dictators?
Will of the electorate be DAMNED??
MAGA!!!
The national reaction might make them think twice about the wisdom of fanatics at the state level. A big win by the democrats in 24 could pull the rug right out from under the cocksuckers in many ways. The electorate is close, and the republicans locked in, so you are at the end of the powers of persuasion and facts don't count with the fucking idiots. What is left? Division, sowing or amplifying division inside the GOP, and Trump will be the primary instrument of that and putting the blow torch on the fucker will make him dance and howl. If he turns on the republicans and walks his base out, they are fucked and likewise if he captures the nomination from a prison cell.

Winning in 24 is very important for many reasons and legislative changes could level the playing field get rid of fox and domestic terrorism as well as control guns and solve or at least address a host of urgent problems. Win in 24 and you will get a Helluva lot more justice than if you lose it, lose it and you lose the constitution and probably your freedom too.

Instead of recognizing their downward trend with voters due to the issues you raise and trying to win votes by adapting their policies with the changing times, they are doubling down on policies that the electorate clearly oppose. Some of their rhetoric can be characterized as them claiming they lost in 2020 and woefully underperformed in 2022 because they weren't radical enough.

Expanding the number of states controlled by Democrats in 2024 is no small task but Republicans are making that job easier with every misstep the MAGA faction makes.
