Speaking of DOJ alumni and citizen with an interest... Glenn will explain everything in detail while prosecuting them on video, just like he's speaking to a jury, back when he was working for the DOJ.

NY AG Letitia James compels Donald Trump to sit for 2nd deposition in $250 million civil fraud suit

So defendant Donald Trump was required once again to travel form Florida to New York City. But this time it wasn't for his criminal case - the case in which NY District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump for 34 felonies. This trip was because NY Attorney General Leticia James compelled Trump to sit for a second deposition as the civil fraud trial against Trump, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric heads to trial in October. Recall last time he was required to testify at a deposition in his $250,000 civil fraud case, Trump pled the 5th 450 times.

Donald is dealing with people smarter than he is and he doesn't have very good legal help and even if he did, it still wouldn't help him. He was in his tax fraud deposition for 8 hours, no doubt pleading the 5th which won't look good when it comes time for payday to NY of $250 million bucks.

BREAKING: Trump CORNERED by Manhattan DA’s BRILLIANT Chess Move

Karen Friedman Agnifilo and Ben Meiselas report on how the deposition of Donald Trump taken by the New York Attorney General Letitia James further demonstrates why Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s decision to wait before presenting financial fraud charges against Trump to a grand jury was a stroke of genius.

I wonder how Donald did with his 8-hour deposition and apparently, he never plead the 5th under oath, if he did, he would instantly lose $250 million when the trial came up in October, well before his criminal trial.

Who here thinks Donald lied during almost 8 hours of sworn testimony where he never plead the 5th over his taxes! Donald is fucked in NY alone.

I figure by new year's any lawyer working for Trump had better make sure they are paid up front! I strongly suspect he will be bankrupt and the only thing keeping him afloat is the grift money, he can't even get a bank to do day to day business for him FFS. It might take NY a while to squeeze the money out of Trump, if he has any left. If Jack freezes his big lie stop the steal money over mail and wire fraud he could be fucked financially, he has no credit, nobody will lend him money and rich magats who are also idiots are rare these days! He can't get Russian money anymore, even though right now he is their biggest and most successful weapon to use against America, they own him, but he is almost worthless now.

MTG and some of his fans are Russia fans, but they are just as stupid and ignorant as him, guys like Ted Cruz have no such excuses though. They are on side with losing war criminals whose crimes are about to be exposed to the world when the Ukrainians drive out the Russians. They are beheading soldiers on video while MTG and Tucker are their cheerleaders, meanwhile Moscow spouts nuclear war threats, who else has hundreds of nukes pointed at you right now? Donald has been really busy, but he did take the time to praise Putin and the other assholes of the world.

How can even trump make those words come out of his mouth?
"these Soros prosecutors appear to be engaging in selective enforcement based on illegal racial discrimination."

"As we completely overhaul the federal Department of Justice and FBI, we will also launch sweeping civil rights investigations into Marxist local District Attorneys," Trump said. "And that's what we have—they are Marxist in many cases."

Racial? how is you stealing government property racial? How is you breaking the laws of the state of New York racial?
How is a single thing you've been charged with racial? Why is it that only the minorities get that accusation? Is Garland racist? Is Jack Smith racist?
Marxist? Find me ONE practicing Marxist in America...I FUCKING DARE YOU....You can't even find one REAL socialist in America, much less a Fucking Marxist, you ridiculous excuse for a man....

He must have plead the 5th to somethings! Not to do so would be to confess to crimes.
No, not to do so would be lying through your teeth....In the face of incontrovertible evidence...so close to the same result, but it will look worse, and make the sentence worse...of course, any sentence is more than likely a life sentence, with his 77 year old arteries full of chicken grease and big mac drippings

I do find it amazing that Barr can still appear in public, standards have dropped for sure. A corrupt AG on TV, a corrupt GOP congress, and a corrupt justice on the bench, while a corrupt president faces the music.

This is a civil case, but his testimony can be used in his criminal case(s) including perjury... The only way to lure him to the stand is if money is on the line it appears... So maybe Jack will freeze Donald's grift cash and force him to the stand in a hearing to try and get it back or unfrozen! It's MY MONEY MINE!

Oh, but what a dangled web we weave, when we first seek to deceive...

Glenn will give you the federal prosecutors perspective and these guys will give you the general lawyer perspective from a civil and criminal perspective. Donald will drop his lawsuit before discovery, he always does.

Have ya noticed the difference, Jack? Does it piss ya off? Does it piss off every patriot who ever held a security clearance? How does this compare with Trump's case in terms of severity and the amount of evidence? Is this guy getting released after booking so he can go back home until trial? Think Trump might draw the same DC judge who sentences this guy when he pleads guilty? Think Trump will be released after arraignment, or will he be treated like this poor fool who was at the very bottom of the government?

This case will put a spotlight on Trump's similar case and comparisons are already being made about equality under the law and other such horseshit. This case could force Jack and the Judge's hand, Jack to indict and the Judge to jail Trump upon arraignment. Technically it shouldn't affect Jack's decision, but he's only human and reads the papers and knows exactly what is happening and will happen to that stupid kid who ruined his own life for less than what Trump did and with less evidence and witnesses against him. For him justice was swift, and it will be sure, this was very sensitive stuff, but not as sensitive as what Trump stole.

Ah, now I get why MTG was so protective of this man. She's thirsty.
