Posting this as a little FYI to those who may be looking to pick up some 4/20 deals on Seedsman. I suggest you double check your order totals before you checkout. According to their listed prices, I have about $94 of seed packs added to my cart, as well as a bunch of freebies that they added. Somehow, that $94 ends up being a grand total of $192 after shipping and some other phantom charges. Am I missing something? Freebies ain't looking so free.

Just wanted to give a little update about the situation I'd posted about a couple of weeks ago with Seedsman. As you can see from the post right above this one, Seedsman was very interested in the problem I was having and reached out for more info to see about fixing it. As critical as I tend to be about the functionality of their website, I can't say that there aren't very decent people behind the screen trying to get their issues ironed out. I just wanted to potentially help them and their customers possibly dodge a few headaches over whatever was going on with their shopping cart, wanting nothing out of the deal but the satisfaction of trying to be a decent, helpful human. Still, their CEO, Tom, was very friendly and appreciative. Even going so far as to let me pick out 4 free 5-packs of seeds just for me taking a little time to help out a bit. Raging prick though I may be, I gotta call it like I see it, and in my eyes Seedsman is still gonna be my main go-to supplier when I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck. Thanks, Tom.

I just bought from them , huge disappointment ! 50 % germination and only their seeds they breed made it ...This is my first and very last purchase from them . It looks like from some of the best they became some of the worse ...I strongly advise you to avoid ,there are many far better than Seedsman nowadays ...
I just germinated 5 seeds from them and all 5 sprouted and are doing good so far. 3:5 are Seedsman seeds the other two were sweet seeds

I've ordered and successfully grown harvests from Seedsman probably 4 or 5 grows with no issues. The seeds are reasonably priced and you often get very solid freebie seeds. However, shipping to US takes FOREVER (like a month). Also maybe it's just me but it looks like they revamped their website and the new layout is awful. It's less intuitive and almost feels like a lot of the sorting and filtering options have been done away with or buried somewhere on the site. Also a lot of strains from their seedsman collection I used to get as freebies aren't even available for purchase now which is odd.
it’s been years since I ordered when it was only Zelle and shipping would take forever. I recently placed an order and now they take visa and shipping took about 4-5 days

Yeah thanks, homie, You are right, now US work so fast, we improved it month ago with a new hub there :hump:

Never again £160 down the drain even their new releases all 5 seeds failed to pop
Hello, I'm sorry to read that you have had problems germinating, what genetics are you referring to? I myself (I'm JTrich behind here, working with Tom since 2013 usually focused on showing our genetics to the community) I usually germinate/photograph many of them. And I can honestly guarantee their solvency and quality with enough photos, whether they are mine (6 Liter pots), or those of a colleague (7 Liter pots). That said, when we germinate there are a thousand things that can go wrong, I am not saying that it is your mistake, but stating that it is a product problem should not be the way to go, just an example in Spain these weeks we have temperatures of 35- 40º, I myself have germinated these days 4 genetics from Seedsman, with temperatures above 30ºC, as you can imagine, some seeds have not done it, but it is something totally feasible, I already expected it, that's why I put some extra, on the other hand, I think that if all your seeds fail, the problem is 95% on the grower side. Even so, at Seedsman we have always offered a germination guarantee, not many do that. We do, so please send me a DM and I will gladly send you those seeds again, plus an extra pack for the inconvenience. Thanks!! :peace:

For all of you reading here, In this thread I'm posting about our genetics, you are welcome!! :hump:

We are an honest open company and now have all orders shipping to mainland USA in between 2 and 7 days.

Unlike a few seedbank thats now only sell own brand seeds we still sell a wide range of seeds from many different breeders and collectors.

I've always done well with seedsman and I have only ordered from them BEFORE they came to this side of the pond. I've had some germination issues in the past but I can't fault them for that except once when my beans were in transit for a vvery long time in the middle of the summer and the heat probably did not do nice things during the mailing process. I've always taken the risk of seeds in their breeders packs though just because I have been burned by other banks in spain (so that seems 'sensible' cough cough). I am about to place a new order now that they are shipping from here and am a little nervous to pull the trigger on over 500 bones without ever using them here since they no longer have the breeders pack option up on the US checkout. This thread has eased my mind a bit but I'm still hesitant, but that is always the case since I have severe ADHD. But, here goes nothing. Thanks to everyone who put their experiences on here and thanks to seedsman for being active in the forums without being a total CODY. If you know, you know. If you don't; he is just one that you DON'T buy seeds from on this side of the pond.

Update: So Upon ordering: my order was processed over a weekend and was at the door that wednesday. Ordered about 600 bucks worth of beans and had them within five days of ordering. I still have some overseas people I prefer to use as well and will continue to use them as they do not use the typical couriers to get stuff stateside. All that being said, I've been a customer of seedsman for 10 years now and will continue to be.
