We get those at the beach when the wind is coming off the Bay side. Nasty little bastards. I'm more worried about ticks and Lyme disease now as I've seen several friends that spend a lot of time outdoors have to deal with really serious reactions to it. Ticks are sneaky and a lot of times you don't even know they're latched on.

Lol no, mom and I are on good terms, but don’t speak much, and no interest in being with each other. At all. Lol…we co-parent nicely enough, but that’s about it.

And yeah, both grandmothers will be there. Unfortunately both grandfathers died recently… her moms dad died early last year, and my dad passed this last September

Back to sanding today. Sanded again at 80grit after the water pop. The wet it again, let it sit for 3 hours, sanded at 120grit, routed the edges, sanded routed edges, wet it again, now the desktop is drying again before applying the grain filler. Then sanding up to 380grit tomorrow. I may actually get the first coat of finish on before we leave for New York. So in about a week and a half I'll have my desktop finished hopefully almost as smooth as a guitar top.

Time for a dispensary trip.
