When she hits bottom tell her that you love her and take her to a A.A and this is coming from somebody that's got over 35 years sober the only way I quit was A.A best of luck to you and your family and friends :hump: :peace:
Congrats on this Jeff...It probably saved your life.

I was kind of anti 12 step program when I was younger, even though I do believe in religion...BUT now I do think it's the best program for alcoholics., if not all addictions. I wish I could get my bro into it. His life revolves around a sad little bar, which is his real family!!

Speaking of steps, I need to get my arse to the park and get a whole bunch of them in. My hip is really hurting...or it might be my SI joint...Or probably both!! I noticed I walk slower than most. I get passed by everyone! Oh well, it's not a race.

It looks a lot like the wood peckers we have here in VA and I just saw it's a wood pecker variety. Love those little guys and glad it's okay.
Yeah, I'm happy it's ok too. I gave it a little warmth with my hand and it hung out for a good 5 minutes after it got up off its belly. Then chirped away. There's a bunch of them around. I actually get a large variety of different birds here.

Yup, we have Pileated wood peckers and the downy wood peckers at the feeders daily. I have a cool bird ID app called Merlin if we get a new species stopping by on migration. We had indigo buntings last year for a couple weeks and they're beautiful. I watch them right outside the window all day. We don't have TV so they're my afternoon entertainment.
