My little grow corner, leave your 2 cents

Finished my grow room a couple days ago. Got my plants in some new soil and they are not dying anymore, and making a quick recovery. Three of them are 4 weeks, and one of them is 9 days. The 9 day old is doing the best because it wasn't put in shitty MG soil for 3 weeks. Anyways, hows this lookin, as in the box? Inside is all white drywall, (4) 100k 6500k CFL's, 18/6, fan is on for 6 hour intervals.

Looks pretty good, some changes would be to keep the fan on 24/7 because the plants need it to strengthen up their stems (make sure the fan is blowing on the plants). And secondly get the lights closer, I use CFLs and I keep them no farther than 1 inch away from the tops of my plants and that works wonders. (also try to get an aluminum reflector/ballast for your lights so all of the light is reflected onto the plants because a lot of light may be lost in the opposite direction of your plants)

also u probably dont want those two plants in the same planter. the roots will intertangle and compete and one plant will eventually kill the other. transplant into seperate containers

Great point I didn't even pay attention to that. It is definately a good idea to get them in seperate pots.

That's a pretty solid little rig job there. Make sure you keep it cool and get good circulation.

thanks for the tips, everytime I move the lights about 2 inchs away the plants just move right up to it hahaha. I do have a reflector for the lights, but the box seems to light up a lot more when they are not on. I will transplant those two tomorrow. thanks!:leaf:
