I have them a few yards off the deck. Every year I find them and when I soak them in water I throw the water on the same areas. I heard it helps and it might. I do get a good harvest for a couple meals.

Every time I "hunted" them I was disappointed lol
That's awesome so close to home. My golf partners always want to know why I like to walk into the trees sometimes even when I hit the ball straight down the middle.

We have some friends who moved here from the Pacific Northwest. Their skills are preternatural. They get grocery bags full off public park land
Yeah, I have friends like that. It's actually why I started looking. The food was so good and the mushrooms made it better.

Chanterelles are supposed to be another easy one to pick out. And damn they are amazing flavor wise. I've never hunted them though.

remember when driving was fun???
Sorta kinda, only barely.

3 1/2 hrs driving with a bunch of _______ out there I've earned this
First thing my wife said after I told her I got my weed in NYC in under 15 minutes of setting out to get it, "Heh, and at home it's a 10 minute drive with a 20 minute wait before you can pick up your weed from the dispensary. That easy, you may never leave."
