It means it was using almost the same components as the spider farmer. Not sure what size your space is but the hyphotonflux is on sale right now and is a really nice quality light
its made in the same factory its just the ones that didnt pass the quality control.mine would work even when lights where off a few leds would work and if you touch it and the ground you would get shocked XD

I run the HPF 4000 in a veg tent and although hotter and more orange than my HLG X and HLG Veg Pro it does the job. But for me the heat is a killer so I'm planning on changing that one over to an HLG too when I get around to it.
I've got it in a 40"x40" tent so I can run it just a little lower so I haven't personally notice any heat. It's definitely more of a flowering light and better build quality then the other cheaper Chinese lights I've got like Mars/upday

My HPF is in a 4'.

I flower with this:

I really like the red spectrum on my X and it runs about the same temp as the HPF at higher wattage. The plants responded dramatically to it as well. So I'm happy. But yeah, that price made my eyes water but I waited and got a good deal on it.

Is that a full spectrum? Does the driver separate from the light itself? I'm running a ChilLed Growcraft 600 watt,

https://chilledgrowlights.com/our-products-services/commercial-led-grow-lights/4ft-x-4ft-canopy/growcraft-x6-600w-led-grow-light-commercial-grade

but I'm in the market for another led. Was looking for something that ran a little cooler and was built in the states.

Hi @Syntax747

We make all of our lights with remote drivers and are built in California. 5-year warranty, and also waterproof conformal coated with IP65 electrical connections.

Happy to answer any questions you have.

Have a good 4th.

Regards,
Dan
