I can't pimp these folks enough. They take in the old, the lame, the blind, the lost, the unwanted and find them forever homes or just plain keep them at the sanctuary. So..the next time you want to buy that bag of weed or seeds, or booze or that tool you just have to have, think about sending them a donation. At the very least sign up for the newsletter.

Yeah today I'm pulling a little senior with subcutaneous emphysema from chest wall trauma before the shelter euthanizes. He'll be fine and I want him out of that shelter before the 4th.

More when you get him home please...
He's with a foster and I probably won't get pictures for a bit. He needs a bath and some quiet time. Thanks for asking.

In other news would @Tvanmunhen please come get your dog!

My husband was out washing the car when this guy strolled up and made himself at home. He's a very friendly guy but my terriers think he's their new chew toy. Thankfully I have a strongly cross-fenced yard. I hope I hear from his owner. He's a real lover, not at all terrier material so he can't stay here. They all voted him off the island. He was completely chill about it too!

Haha What a cutie Quinn would love a boy friend. It's dangerous weather out there for him right now poor fella. It's a shame the others voted. I call for a revote! Especially since he had such a good attitude about it last time haha.

He's in the shade with plenty of water and a place to lay while he watches for his people to look for him. I'm hoping they find him today.

I couldn't imagine Quinn getting out lol. Her stanima sucks so she probably wouldn't get too far away. I'm pretty sure I would knock on every single door within 20 mi radius lol. His family misses him I'm sure they'll come around.

I can't believe anyone would let that little fella roam . Or not be out looking for him if he wandered off on his own .
He's not exactly an athlete. I've begun to call him Bubbles those poor brachycephalic breeds suffer in the heat so he's in the shade and getting ice water now

It took him 30 minutes to make it across the lawn to my husband. He's older. I'm betting his people maybe too. I just hope to god they weren't up here for a party and went home

Sometimes things happen for a reason . I imagine Bubbles was an expensive puppy , just like my Jake was years ago . At a point sometime after reaching adulthood my Jake became a pain in the ass , needing care and love . Instead he was ignored and abused . He was given away like unwanted junk . He bounced around a bit from person to person , none willing or able to make a lifetime commitment .

I wasn't actively looking for a dog when he needed his 4th or 5th home . We found each other via kismet . The rest is history . I will love him for the rest of his life . He brings me joy every day .

Hopefully Bubbles has a family who are looking for him because they love him and want him back , but if he doesn't I hope he has had his kismet moment .
