I am going out to try and move those plants near my propane tank. We'll see....The plow is still on my ATV! I am thinking of making a sled out of a piece of 1/4" plywood and dragging them. They probably weigh 200-300 pounds each now.

I doubt they will even deliver before next week, but you never know. I also doubt the cops would even come out for 2 plants in the yard, but why chance it!

Oh, we have a 3rd weed shop opening topmorrow....at 4:20 pm. This is good....With 3 of them maybe some competition will happen!!

I read something that recreational growing will be legal 18 months after the first recreational shop opens. Why the delay?

Good question. But even when they do legalize growing, I believe it will be indoor only....

From their site...

Once permitted, New Yorkers 21 years and older can grow up to six plants in their home for personal use (3 mature plants and 3 immature plants) and a maximum of twelve plants per household (6 mature plants and 6 immature plants), even if there are three or more adults 21 and over in the residence.

  • Cannabis plants must be kept in a secure place and not accessible to any person under 21.
  • Home cultivated cannabis cannot be sold to anyone and is only intended for personal use.
  • Please note, it is illegal to make cannabis hash oil or concentrates using substances like butane, propane, or alcohol with home grown cannabis.
  • Local municipalities may enact and enforce regulations relating to home cultivation of cannabis provided, no municipality may completely ban or prohibit home cultivation.

The home cultivation of medical cannabis is currently permitted. To learn more, please visit cannabis.ny.gov/patients

I wonder if rosin and bubble hash will be legal.

Does your back yard gate have a lock? If so, you’re good to grow in the back yard.

And concentrates seem to be legal to produce as long as you don’t use solvents to manufacture them
