In the 80's I stopped at a gas station for fuel with my ex & our 2 young kids - two dudes jumped into the back seat (with the kids) and started screaming orders while brandishing a pistol and a knife. Fortunately I had my 1911 next to me & solved the problem quick;y. Ugly but effective.
A wiser man than I said" it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it". Glad you made it out safely.

Yep, that sounds about right. I said to the guy, so when will you be back? He told me "This will get you through the summer". I said yeah, but I ordered 400 g's and I want the cheaper price. He said "call them"....Yes, I will !!

You reminded me....I better get moving too. Rain soon...
yeah great, and talk to a machine.

as a point of interest, when you call a number to sort something out, if you dont reply to the automated service, there set to think your an elderly person whos confused or as someone who needs help. so it puts you on to a person, not a machine works every time, no waiting for hours pressing buttons

Ok got a question for you all if one is growing in soil and would like to re-use the soil how would go about it any information would be greatly appreciated :hump: :bigjoint::peace:
Growing many years on the same place. Compost or cow manure or dryed chicken shit when spring soil preparations and feeding with Fishmix+humidic acids through vegetation. Soil seems to be O.K., but i´m not doing any tests.

What exactly is your medium? I grow in promix hp and when a grow is done I break up the root balls and remove as much root material as I can. I let it dry and store it in trashcan or, more often, use it immediately since I grow pretty much nonstop. I have had zero problems reusing that soil for the past 3 years.

Thanks for that and I'm growing inside and using bag soil Greener fields just trying to figure out how to get rid of the salt buildup in them now that I think about it you know I throw my tomato plants in the soil that I use for growing without doing anything to it besides cleaning out the old roots

I think people overthink that. But I use nothing but maxibloom which tomatoes love. I just figure if the plant I just harvested was happy with it roots in that medium, why wouldn't the next plant be just as happy? Same plant, same pot, same everything so why would it be any different? If you have salt buildup It might just be from chronic underwatering.

And the salt buildup is more of a concern than it is a true issue like you said overthinking it

Agreed.

This similar to how my compost works.

Ill add some rabbit manure, blood and bone meal and a few other goodies as time goes.
My recycle is in its 4 year, and I'm pleased.
