The UK Growers Thread!

Little update on the 600w cmh bulbs I switched too a few weeks back.....

20230708_134957.jpg

Was absolutely loving them until this and more importantly the plants were also, going to try one more set (a fool and his money are easily parted) but seriously considering LED investment....

I can now never go back to the orange glow of HPS, being able to actually see real colour of the plants is game changing, I love my 315w cmh but these bring the power!

Also thank gawd that outer jacked didn't blow as well!

Mine are just over 2 weeks since flip 2 side very tall under the 600 other side looking nice but need 1 door open on tent to keep temps down to 28-30c

Also @Lemon king wouldnt mind trying those bulbs myself. My plants seem to love the shogun calculator aswell

LED has come along way, just make sure u go with a decent brand that gives u a decent ppfd coverage.
most will go into how many and what LEDs are used (warm white/cool white/far red/ir and UV. Samsung 301b etc)

I still rock the 600 digital hps lamps the thing that puts me off cmh ones is you cant be in and around the plants for as much time safely due to higher uv and i like being around them a fair bit its the same reason i hand water still but other than that i have heard only good things about the ceramic metal halides mate lucky that bulb didnt completely pop tho

I done my first bit of free climbing/my first Munro when i was 7 i dont mind heights my dad and uncles were all into hillwalking and climbing so it rubbed off on me for sure ive worked doing ventilation and in other kinds of work with heights a lamposts fuckall to me lol it is pretty funny to me when you see folk working on sites in scissor lifts and stuff that are shit scared grabbing onto the sides and that

Any one had any success with revegging .... long story short plants were not ready to chop with the last crop when I encountered a mysterious virus problem fuck knows what it was plants were taken at 7 weeks instead of 10 - 11 I had two small plants stuck in the corner that smelt really gassy diesel and were unaffected by the problem so I carried them on in smaller tent and used the bigger one to dry .... I fucked the timer up and the lights were coming on for an hour of light halfway through the night cycle took me four weeks to realise they wasn't growing normal and had small dark leaves growing anyway I've revegged them and do I just let them grow now and continue them as vegging plants or take cuttings off them when I can and continue them that way ?? Not done it before so I wouldn't know

I would take a clone soon as a decent enough one was there to take with 5 blade leafs, thats just me tho maybe not the best way
