That's pretty cool, but compared to GTA, it looks rather limiting. In GTA you can get a snipers rifle (With cheats) or by finding it in the maze, and get up on a rooftop and pick off people a block away, Or get the rocket launcher and blow away cars, cops, helicopters etc. When the tanks come, the only thing that will kill them is the molotov coctails, it takes about 3-5 to do them in. I've held off the cops, the FBI, the army and everyone else that wanted me dead for 15-20 minutes by getting on a roof top with a shelter from the helos and killing everything that comes after me. It's the only game so far that has been able to hold my interest for more than a half hour or so. They have a new GTA, but it requires you buy Playstation III, no fucking way, that's fucked. I bought PSII, and it's no better than the PSI I gave away. When they format the new GTA for PSII, I'll buy it. Otherwise, fuck them.

they had the 3 game set at best buy for $29.99. the other day. :mrgreen:

dude playing black sucked. you are supposed to sneak in and slow down a little. he was all balls out. i gave my son the playstation2 to take next door to grammas a few years ago. i just bought myself a new one. i as well have little interest in most games. they just get too hard. they should be fun, not hard. :cuss:

Its entirely possible we were better off under the tulip bulb standard.

It is not going to matter who got elected so much as can he live without the perks of being owned by lynch and citi-corp.............blah blah

Try the new GTA and let me know if it is as good as the other 3. I think the second one was better than the 1st and 3rd, except there are much more planes to fly, I like the hover jet, can do a lot of damage with that, and the rocket Helo, can stay in the air forever shooting down police helos, it's when the jets come in your goose is cooked. I always liked rushing the military base and stealing a tank, not much can stop a tank. BTW, if you've never tried GTA, get the set. You'll enjoy it, I guarantee it, that is a deal, they were originally 50-60 bucks apiece.

I got a ps3 and xbox360. The gta is sweet on the 360. Graphics are nice and its got the great game play the rest had. I have it on for the 360. I only bought the ps3 for socom confrontation. They drop the price on the new consoles since I bought mine.

I don't know about you, but the game is much more fun with the cheat codes, you can find them on the net. Once you memorize a few, you can pretty much stay alive and have weapons all the time, you can also get any vehicle in the game by using the codes, including the tank and the hover-jet. To complete the game requires using only a limited amount of cheats. What I do, is keep one game pure, (Without cheats) and whenever I feel skilled, I try and advance the game. It gets really boring repeating hard exercises though. They allow you to keep multiple games stored.

Hey the ps3 isn't a bad deal you can get the 40gb for 349$. I think that also comes with a bluray player. I use mine with my psp I have 4gb hard drive on that so i store my music on my ps3 and transfer to psp for road trips and stuff. I wasn't to impressed with the ps3 2 yrs ago when I got it, wasted a bunch of money on games that just sit there. Now that I use it more for a multimedia center I enjoy it. Again I only play socom on it now,everything else I play on the 360.

Well, I have a perfectly good PSII that plays most games except the new GTA. I don't use it for anything but game playing, so to spend 350.00 just to play one silly game, really doesn't make sense to a po-boy. I don't do all the music stuff. Don't worry, in a couple a years, that PSIII will be obsolete and you can buy a PS IV, for 500.00 and it will wipe away your tears, from the buying price.

Yeah the GTA games are awesome. medman I know what you mean about keeping the interest, and fdd I know what you mean about games getting too hard. I have the 360 and mostly play halo3 online with a bunch of friends that go back 3+ years. We have a pretty tight team and everyone has their regular positions sniper/driver/flag carrier etc this is what I find makes it fun is the social part, constant communication, teamwork. You can also just play unranked or custom games and just chill.

Now I'm not much of a gamer really as far as playing different types but left 4 dead got my attn. You and 3 friends hold up on a rooftop while you wait for evac heli, 100's on zombies running at ya. The AI is very good, you can't just clear an area and call it done. they will keep coming and get harder to beat so you must keep moving the speed at which pushes and pulls thru the game.

A plain 360 with no bells,whistles go pretty cheap nowadays. 199 I think. They also have a damn good warranty. With all the extras they have and the online marketplace with microsoft points cards they just want ppl to have a working 360. I own 2 actually both have been replaced once and one is being replaced a second time, all for free even the shipping. I think they see it as this. As long as everyone has a working xbox they will buy the add ons ,games, songs for music games, you can network with your comp and download movies from netflix, or rent them off the 360 itself.

Yup, Sony just priced themselves out of my market. If I get the urge to buy another, it will be an X-box. I believe the X-box will play the new GTA, no need to buy a new one.

I don't care for GTA,I'm into role playing games.Gothic 3 has a masssive world.I put god mode on and wander around just for the scenery.You can swim too, and look at the bottom of the ocean.I stood in one spot until the sun went down because the sunset was so damn pretty.

price was the biggest factor in my decision to go with the 360. i had the ps 1-2 but fuck the prices they wanted for the 3..

Hey guys very few people are happy about the price of the PS3...it's really starting to show to - Sony is laying off several thousand employees & doing other things to cut costs.
