Does anybody else scrog and LST at the same time?

? Honestly this is my first grow I am kind of just playing it as I go. Specifically I'm asking does anybody else use both these techniques at the same time and do you find it useful. I don't find that it causes too much stress on the plant to the point where I can't do both. Other than that questions comments I appreciate the feedback anything in the general sense that would help me be a better grower as I stated this is my first girl,. That was supposed to say my first grow. They are girls though LOL

I'm gonna steal the clothespin idea. What kind of material is strung to the plant? Is it flexible? It looks like rubber band which is why I ask

No actually it's balloon string for your basic hot balloon for kids birthdays and stuff. And then I just got paper clips from the dollar store

Here is the a picture from the bottom and then I use the string and I can pull back more and more and more and I just use the clip to tighten it and I can loosen it as long as I have slack on it when I initially cut it that's why you see extra string hanging from the top you need to have that extra little bit

There you go there's a picture of that resistance. There's no way to explain that feeling but yeah after the resistance and feed new newts on newt day it's pretty happy this Saturday day

I always say this on any platform I'm in the stuff that I post is the truth so like sarcasm doesn't help this is honest pictures and stuff of and the stories that I tell is honestly what's going on this is honestly my first girl I didn't know how to do any of this up until about a month ago so the next few months is going to be a really big learning experience so my point my point being I just need facts is all

I looked it up and found some people who use SCROG + LST, seems to be pretty reasonable.

Using lst before adding the net is a great way to get the plant opened up and spread out in preparation for the netting. It makes life a whole lot easier when you go to put the net on the plant.

Ok thanks much. I find that I'm having a super super close relationship with these things I don't know why I haven't started growing before it's extremely peaceful and motivating

I have always started out with lst, then as the plant gets bigger and reaches the net I’ll switch, but still use lst where needed. I like the string and clips, I might give that a try, now I just use a fairly stiff coated wire, just 12g ground wire actually.
