Dr Earth Premium Gold vs Flower girl for flower

Always remember charts / feeding schedules / etc. are guides ONLY - do not take it as gospel.

When I top dress - say a 3 gallon soil pot with Dr. Earth LIFE or Premium Gold during Veg - I do 1-2 tablespoons per pot.
Use a fork or stick to work it into top soil ( scratch in ) then water tap - that’s it. I do once a week feeding to allow previous to become available to plant and start to feed. Most dry fertilizer can take up to 2 weeks to break down in pot. So , this way I don’t waste product or hyper load a plant with excess feed.

Flower Girl is a great ( one and done ) bloom fertilizer - same process except I continue premium gold or homegrown fertilizer thru transition / stretch phase ( plant will utilize extra nitrogen for continued rooting and stretching / cell health / pigmentation ( leaf green ) / etc. while it moves to bloom phase. Technically you could run the premium gold all the way to harvest ( good shit ) . It not only keeps things under control - NO MULTI BOTTLE BULLSHIT needed as plant is already accustomed to this feed and you are recharging medium as it feeds.

But back to Flower Girl - same for me - After stretch ( slow or stops ) and budsites are forming then I move her into a bloom only feed.

Generally the same method when I run Roots Organic Terp Tea Grow and Bloom dry fertilizer instead of Dr. Earth ( which BTW is another fine option to use.

Agreed. I seen someone mention this on an auto flower form a couple years back and it made so much sense.

I love Dr Earth ferts and Alaskan Fish emulsion and Morbloom.

I switched to Alaskan brand because the girls love fish. Plus it was easier to measure ppms. The Morbloom PK is awesome

4-4-4 you use when you change the light schedule to 12/12. Then you use Bud and Bloom until like 2 weeks before harvest

Recharge you use up until you change the light schedule. I used Myco+ Root stimulator for 4 weeks then switched to Recharge until I flipped the light schedule. I don't start using PK bloom nutes until week 2 or 3 of flower because I use Organic homemade soil that I add organic ferts to. It has plenty of N for the stretch and I just pay attention to the lower fan leaves if I get one turning yellow and shrivelling up then I give it a little N next watering.

But this all depends on how late into flower they are

Still havnt fed my plants with.the Dr Earth 444.. worried if I add something new that it might mess something up..
I got 3 bagseed plants one is 9 weeks the other 2 are around 7 and 8 weeks..
If I add this 444 is there any chance it'll burn my plants? Should I just start with half dose? I just watered them all this morning so it'll have to get added to the soil b4 next watering

Maybe, but what are your other options? Not feed it at all and watch it devour itself from the bottom up?

Feed the plant and stop over thinking simple situations.

Can wind do that or heat
If the fan is blowing directly at high speeds yes it can cause the leaf to fold enough and make a crack and the leaf can fall off then the edge gets like that. Can be from accidentally damaged if you were in there messing with something and didn't realize it. It'll survive.

As far as top dressing organic Dr Earth it shouldn't do anything to them. It usually takes 1 week from adding dry ferts for the plant to show any effects. If your leaf tips start to get yellow then just water it until you notice bottom leaves going all yellow. In late flower yellowing fan leaves is normal.

I topdressed mine with 1/4cup of the 4-4-4
1 week after I flipped.

From now on they will get 15 ml of Alaskan Morbloom which is like 1300ppm. But the Sativa girl will only get half that cause they dont like heavy feeding

Like my Northern lights girl here she's getting yellow tips. It means she's at her limit on nutrients so I just give regular water with 1tbs of Blackstrap Molasses per gallon to feed the microbes. 20230715_075128.jpg

The Bruce Banner girl I have she's loving the Nitrogen with dark green indica leaves and no tips yellowing 20230721_115436.jpg
