Man, I haven't mowed in like 6+ weeks. Should probably.consider doing that in the next couple weeks. Lol
I had a tractor tire go flat and come off the rim back in late June. The first thought I had was that the lawn will make a lovely field of wildflowers when it's 2' tall lol. We're in the woods with no neighbors either and since my kids are grown I've gotten much more comfortable with the lawn as field concept. It just makes it a little harder to see the critters hiding in it.

Well I think this is the clear winner.

Their other model is $80 on Amazon, and requires a $15 calibration solution , that is only good for 3 months....Sooooo, you have to keep buying the calibration solution...That's $95 to get started.

The Truncheon never requires calibration, and comes with a 5 year warranty for under $100. I guess $20 a year for an accurate EC meter is not bad.

Sold!

That doesn't measure pH though, correct?

mmmmm, I love hot beef or turkey sandwiches with mashed taters swimming in gravy, especially on a cold day. Comfort food. We do have some great diners around here. Seems like the best ones for comfort food are Greek owned.
I live in Greektown (massive street festival this weekend actually which makes the neighborhood a little nutty) and can attest Greek owners know how to do comfort food!

Oops, I haven't changed out my calibration solutions. Oh well I just won't let my meter read the instructions.

In reading reviews there were people who bought their EC calibration solution on Amazon and couldn't get their EC meters to calibrate...After complaining to Bluelab, and being sent fresh solution, that "fixed" the issue....So if you get an error code, don't panic.

I don't think it's as big a deal with PH meters...I just calibrated mine last night in year old solutions and it worked fine.
