... but it's coco based not peat. I'm not ready to make that change ...
Sunshine Mix is not a coco based product where you need to water them multiple times per day. SM #4 is a peat based product containing all the same shit as the Pro-Mix - except for the Resilience which is a silica additive. Pro Mix does not contain any silica additive

When I've grown with the Sunshine Mix, the watering frequency was identical to growing with the Pro Mix. For this environment, watering was every 4th day regardless of which medium.

This is what Amazon showed me.Screenshot_20230816_064011_Amazon Shopping.jpg Thanks for the correction. I guess the 'advanced' version is coco

Why? I wasn't curious enough to look past.the product photo and it just says coco on the bag
You'd have to ask them that. I have no clue. But I've used it and liked it. It held moisture more than the standard coco pith that I moved to in approximately 2014 (Canna Coco). I'm looking forward to giving the new Botanicare Coco a try because my local grow shop stopped carrying the Canna.

I am so ready to get onto my next grow!! I made too many mistakes...I have a lot of foxtailing in my tent....The new light has more "umph" than I thought!! They still look great, but foxtailing hurts yield they say.

The 2 plants I moved out of the tent and flowered under a smaller 300 watt LED look beautiful! Proof that more is not always better.

I'm not sure if I'm treating it like soil. Maybe I am?
I just meant you're not doing the water til 20% runoff thing with Blumats probably and she looks marvelous!! . :weed:

I wonder if you used 2 carrots per pot if that would help.

How many gallons is your pot, just out of curiosity?
That pot is 2.5 gallons I believe.

I dont think I need 2 because the 1 will run like crazy if I let it. It will saturate the pot with no issue. I just need to find that sweet spot and I need to probably get a little bigger reservoir as this one is only 4 gallons.

ETA: That said, 2 carrots may be the answer. I'll have to try that at some point.
