Rdwc browning/curling leaves Help!

Hey there I've done a cycle in this rdwc system with little issues, I'm pretty new to hydroponics but giving it a good stab!
I have had some browning leaves in my system, I gave it a good water blast out after last cycle done by best to get it clean! I use goliath garden of eden nutrients, running 5.8 to 6.2ph and at the moment 1.7ec. My roots look alright but I've never seen root rot so i thought I'd ask you guys! I also use hard water straight out of my tap and it has a high lime content, it reads 0.3 to 0.4 ec before I even add anything. I was wondering could this possible cause a high amount of calcium once I add my nutrients and cause lock out? I'm a bit lost at the moment and any help would be really appreciated!

What's your water Temps? Water looks a little cloudy, are you doing any preventative like pool shock or H2O2? EC seems a bit high for this stage of the cycle. I go about 1400 max, that is with RO water which I switched to as my water was similar to yours.

What is your environment like? Temps, humidity, light source.

1.7 ec is high for the stage you're in.. Try 1.0 and see..

I agree with this.

@OP I think your seeing burn more than a deficiency, especially in hydro. Make sure your pH is staying stable and check using another meter or preferably drops/strips to make sure your meter is accurate.

I used to call MaxiGro MaxiBurn cause I would always underestimate its strength and feed too strong too early.
