This yellowing crap started back a month ago, when I hung that new 300 watt LED. I thought the plants were light burned, and switched back to a blurple.

I am really stumped! Several of these I cut the top damage off, but it came back even with light nutes.

These were all transplanted into the 2 g. plastic pots a week ago.....and there's one bigger one in a 3 g pot....also looking like crap.
It looks like some kind of burn to me. K? Did the leaves get thin and brittle at the top, with the bleaching?

Spitballing here, so don't quote this. I feel like with the more intense led, you need more nutes. Could it be flat out sucking the leaves dry and bleaching them? That seems like a stretch to me, but like I said, just thinking out loud.
I only used the 300 watt light for a few days a month ago and then went back to my old faithful blurples that I normally veg with, so pretty sure it's not the lighting.

Completely agree with that. The nute levels used in FLOWER went up when I put the Timber's in the tent. A bi-weekly feeding of Epsom helped too.

Speaking of feed ... it's time for the tent girls to get theirs. Back in a bit.
Yeah I always used calmag AND epsom salts in soil, with my RO water....

but I have not been using both with coco.

I was just reading that some people use epsom ONLY with coco, along with base nutes of course.

Yep, I changed right back to the DTW schedule, and have been using the simple formula. I mixed the last batch light.

It is sooo much different than what the bottle says though

You can see the lower part of plants look ok, it's the tops with yellowing and burning.

I just flushed one of these yellowing plants with mild nute solution of about 650 ppm and the runoff was slightly higher....about 800. I forgot to check the runoff ph, but I always check my nute PH and keep it in range.

Some look worse than others, but no vigor. I sprayed them all with 10 ml of calmag per liter at lights off. NO improvement, so last night I sprayed just one with Epsom solution....again, no improvement.

Here's the one I just flushed to check runoff...

Honestly I was expecting them to look a lot worse.

You have some light bleaching for sure. You said you raised or dimmed the lights if I recall.

You have nutrient burn that appears to have been resolved by switching back to the DWT from the regular GH Feed.

To my eye you have excess N and the bleaching is sending you down the wrong path. I don't see any sign of MG deficiency... maybe a little one leaf in the last pic, but I don't think so.

Have you flipped them to flower yet?

No they are still in veg...Want to get them healthier before flipping.

I'm using my old blurples for veg right now...and they are 15" or more above canopy. That's why I really don't think it's the lights causing the bleaching/yellowing. There's also no vigor to the growth. Leaves are small.

And what seems to happen is that yellowing turns crispy...Yeah whatever it is is not resolved....but they were kind of sickly and were just transplanted a week ago so I will give them more time, and pamper the new seedlings!!

Okay good, so you can totally fix this.

You're not going to fix the leaves that are already messed up. You want to see new healthy and vigorous growth.

Can we try an experiment on one of your plants exhibiting the problem? I think this is a lockout.

I saw in one of your photos that you have florakleen.

Mix 4ml florakleen per gallon of plain tap water and ph to 5.8
water to a healthy runoff. 20-30%
Resume feeding on the second daily feed with the early growth feed schedule 5ml micro / 4ml grow /1ml bloom. Skip the calmag for a few waterings or until you see signs that it's required.

I think that's good hunch....I was thinking it too, but was also thinking "how?". But it is possible. I added Calmag when I mixed up the coco bricks, and I mixed in calmag at 5 mg per gallon for first feedings, as they recommend. I noticed not all plants are affected, and that could be different strains. Maybe some couldn;t handle all the calmag.

So anyways, good idea and I am on board.

One question. I have well water, PPM's under 100. Use that, or RO for the flush?

I'd go well water for sure, it will have a much more stable PH than RO water.
