Almost ready to harvest but heat is coming

In virginia 80s for a week and buds are getting fat. Trichomes all milky white. So by my rookie estimation they are ready to be cut down. Or I could let them go a bit more till more trichomes start to turn amber and get fatter.

Temp outside is going to jump up to upper 90s for 6 days.

Wait till it passes or cut a little sooner than I wanted to.

How many weeks are you, I would go 10 minimum. Regardless of the color, maturity of flower happens at the 10th week. The most potency.

Outside photoperiods northern hemisphere Indica and most Hybrids harvest is mid to late Oct or just before the first hard frost if applicable. Landrace Sativa stains can run out past the new year in warm climates.

Outdoor grow so germinated March maybe?
The ones in question have been in flower 5 weeks at least. The others maybe 4. One is like week 2. I had to cut one already that had 50% ish amber trichomes. Are you saying that's too soon?

Thanks for replies I'll let them sit but I don't see 10/1. Can't fathom letting trichomes go 30%+ amber. Don't want put you to sleep weed.
As others have said, these are still weeks out. Do you have a close up of the trichs? Hard to imagine your have any or much amber at all at this stage. Make sure you’re not confusing pistils with trichomes. I wouldn’t even look in a magnifier (the only way to see trichs) till the pistils are at least 80% brown. Your pistils are almost all white still.

edited to add: I don’t see too much trichome development from your pics. Definitely some stacking up on sugar leaves, but much more to come. Again, wait till pistils are almost all brown before focusing on trichomes, and then only look at the trichs on the buds, not the leaves.

As all the others have said you got awhile to go yet. You still have big white pistils wait for them to turn color and start resending back into the buds. Don’t harvest early your missing out of 90% of the bulking You won’t regret waiting it out

Ok..ok...I'll stfu and wait. Lol ty.

Definitely missed the distinction of looking at trichomes on buds rather than leaves. The one I did cut already was bag seed and God knows what it was and it did have a ton of amber.

Yeah I'm using a loupe so can't get good pics but you nailed it. I'm looking at leaves because that's where all the pretty ones are.

It’s hards to tell by looks through the loupe. I was doing it at first then started using the pistils and glad I switched how I was doing it because I was harvesting early a lot and now see a huge difference the last few weeks makes in bulking.

Show some pics of too mature of buds?
I have only seen one plant ever
Never said a word about TOO OLD did i? You missed the point entirely even with my quote. Ive never had early bud make me sleepy because the CBN is so low and the THC is lower.

Clearly the white pistils show the plant needs more time.

Agree with others that it's too early.

In the photo you posted I noticed one sugar leaf with a brown tip (see circle). You might want to check out that bud to be sure you don't have some bud rot starting.

I'm not clear why a temperature in the 90's would be a factor in when to harvest. It's pretty much 90-100dg here all summer, plants love it. You have a long ways to go. IMO you have at least a month. more likely mid October. Forget the trichs, the pistils are what matters.
