Getting cold enough here that I'm fully sweating the temps. Decided to harvest this girl last night, Greenpoint Seeds Sugar Mint.

Looking like today may be our last day above 60F and nights are gonna drop into the teens after the weekend. Probably gonna decide to chop Bubbles here in the next day or so.

Wow great job they are beautiful plants. The cold weather is tough dealing with.. we have a nice day today then rain is moving in.I been protecting her in the gazebo during the rain days. Im trying to get her a fat as possible without risking mold.

Considering their origins, that's kinda funny to me. These 2 were indoor plants I had in some shitty super-dense soil that I just couldn't seem to water properly. Flipped them this spring and after a few weeks flowering they were just limping along so I said fuck 'em and put them outside to die. Apparently they liked it out there. My first re-veg plants and I'm surprised they ended up thriving and yielding anything at all.

Here in AZ, excessive rain/mold are about the only problems I don't have to deal with.

Do you always hang the whole plant and trim when dry? I never tried that

Yeah. I'm in a desert and I think it'd dry too quickly if I'd hang branches separately.

Supposedly, there's a point to drying them out somewhat slowly. As is, much more than a week hanging and they're bordering on being too dried out. If I'd defoliate first, seems like it would dry considerably faster.

Me too.
I've typically got around 39% RH in the basement and I almost always use the 2'*4' for drying, it's plumbed to a 32”*32" so I can use that also if cramped.
I use a Terrabloom 4" PWM for draw with a PWM 120mm input fan and a POS vivosun in the middle - typical temp around 68 and I usually keep the RH near 55-58 so the chlorophyll can break down slowly.
Then into jars for months or years with the Boveda packs at 58% or 62% - works for me...
I don't like choking on the dry stuff and low humidity can be a problem for others, too much moisture around here most of the year.
