Can other plants grow in same tent if marijuana?

So, I have a Maranta and it hasn't been getting enough humidity. My bf has a grow tent with mari plants and suggested I put it in there with them.

So, I know marijuana is a weed and I know outside weeds hurt other plants.

Will my Maranta be safe in there with them? Will the mari be ok with it?

Yeah it will be fine. It might not be enough humidity for the Maranta though.

Most organic growers grow all kinds of cover crops and companion crops and fruits and veggies along with cannabis. My outdoor are mixed with aloe, tomatoes, rosemary, basil, romaine lettuce, sweet potatoes, oregano, cumin, and a lemon bush.


Cannabis /Marijuana is not a weed. It's not even in the same genus family as weeds. It's closer related to hops.

Actually the definition of a weed is a plant that grows where it isn't wanted...therefore the term weed for mj likely started as a pejorative term and people started to assume its a weed.

As far as I know the only plant I've heard to keep away from mj is Roses but that's because of certain pests. There doesn't seem to be much out there on this subject though

I would be worried more about what your plant could do to the pot plants than the other way around if it's been outside or even inside near other indoor plants. Once pests get in a grow room they spread like weeds and house plants are notorious for screwing up grow rooms with mites, thrips etc and many fungal diseases.

Calling pot a weed shows your lack of knowledge about cannabis. Weed is just a poor choice of a nickname for pot. Is pot a grass? No. It's just another nickname for natures most useful plant.
