our world is changing ever so slightly that some people don't notice till it to late.....like where i'm at who would have thought it would be over 100 for 75 days in a row, who would have thought that we would have been in the 90's for some 90 day's in a row. Who would have thought that in 2021 a massive snow and ice storm would come down so far south, that it would almost destroy a power grid and kill thousands.....just a few things....
In 1975, Newsweek predicted an ice age, in an article called "The Cooling World". Now, it's global warming...in 2006, Al Gore claimed that global warming was "boiling the oceans"...there were other predictions that the eastern seaboard would be underwater!!! OMG, *greenhouse gasses*!!!! (excuse me, I just farted...I tried to take it back, but...too late!)

no one can truely predict what and how it's gonna happen, but it is happening on a scale that which we as humans can't understand atm, we are loosing ice shelves both in the north and the south. Sea waters are rising, we can see that with data out of the south pacific, and also in the indian ocean. Weather pattern are also changing and this is throughout the world. Just some people choose not to see it, and that's ok....for the people who do, well it's one day at a time.....currently i'm watching Iceland, there about to have another volcano birth.....

We've learned a bit more in the past 30 years and there is a scientific consensus on the subject backed up by multiple paths of evidence. If things continue as they are sea level rises are predicted as the polar ice sheets melt, it's simple math and expected over the next 100 years.

Not in Alberta. Just recently our conservative right-leaning gov't put a 7 month moratorium on renewable energy projects leaving billions of investment dollars hanging and likely to go elsewhere. It's glorious leader, Danielle Smith, is fighting with Ottawa over it's carbon tax and climate protection goals not to mention trying to open more coal mines on the eastern slopes of the Rockies that will be operated by foreign, (mainly australian), companies with most of the profits leaving the province like it is with electrical production here.

If Albertans want to give up government healthcare and fall behind the green revolution while giving up their pension fund to a bunch of wall street speculators, who am I to argue? Good luck selling or exporting tar sands oil in 5 years or so, depending on the political situation in the States and investment in that sector should dry up soon. We will get regressive governments in Canada and America, and we could get a regressive federal one in Canada soon if people are stupid enough to elect the Tories and Peepee as PM. I see the anti-climate change bunch are sharing disinformation on how much CO2 the volcano emits, humans emit 100 times more CO2 every year than all the volcanos on the planet.
they are, most aren't paying attention to they're surroundings, or they're off a blog to blog somewhere getting they're info...it's really kinda of stupid if u ask me. I've lived in Tx all my life, so i've had time to pay attention to whats around me. For instance the butterfly migration.....this year i did see it, and if i did see some it was very far and few between, you can also see it in the animal life...this year was the first year i put out multiple animal watering areas so local animals in my area have the ability to get water from a safe source.....when it comes to Volcanic stuff did you know there are 2 in active stages right now, one in mexico, and one in sicily go off atm. The iceland one will prolly be next in the coming days.....me and the wife haven't been down to the coastal region in a while to see what's happening there........
