I'd be more concerned why the reservoir is turning cloudy in the first place
Dry weight? And that looks like a bit early of a chop. How long did it flower?Who ever said yielding a p in here at once being tough if possible at all. This idk what it is but its not half a p. Qp maybe if I am lucky. I only ran it for 6 weeks though so maybe I can perpetuate and use this strain to get more.
Im trimming it up now to dry and so far it seems like 4 oz a little more or less but too soon to say. They are very dense.Dry weight? And that looks like a bit early of a chop. How long did it flower?
There's no strain I'm aware of that is remotely close to done in 6 weeks.Im trimming it up now to dry and so far it seems like 4 oz a little more or less but too soon to say. They are very dense.
6 weeks flower but 90% of it was ripe it was just the lower canopy that could use more time under suboptimal conditions that come with one plant one big canopy.
Breeder estimate as rule of thumb said 8-9 weeks which I could let the clones go longer next time but if theyre smaller trimmed up plants maybe it can finish about the same time.
I have another plant in 6 week flower right there. That to me is too early to chop. Out of curiousity I am going to do a “another 2 weeks thread” and see what happens. I believe 10 weeks is good but sure a good few will say another 4 weeks.
I would want to really know what I am waiting for and why. I will show yall the most ripe I am willing to go and compare.
Tent rh is very very managable. Power bill decreasing. All I have to do is keep half the tent in early flower and I can run it longer. Like with this plant, I can run it and see how long I get suggested to end up running it. I have clones so this could be tested and will be.
Just to challange everything I just said and currently believe in. Hate to realize when I am being stubborn and willing to change that I am just almost 100% positive on this. But If I am wrong Id like to know better, I just dont see it at the moment.
What are your average flower runs in weeks since flip? Hard question to answer but what are your shorter and longer runs? You don't have to start a new thread for the info. This is how you tell when a plant is ripe.
"The signs of ripeness are pretty standard for cannabis plants.
First a few of the pistils begin turning color and start receding. Your plant is just starting to ripen. Depending on the strain you could still have two months to go. We're just starting this journey.
Two to four weeks later you'll notice that most of the pistils(>80%) have now changed color and curled back into the bud. It's frosty, way bigger than it was a few weeks ago(aren't you glad you waited), and smells dank! It's time, right? Not a chance killer. Patience is a virtue.
Over the next 2-3 weeks it doesn't look much different, maybe a little more swelling in the calyxes, and the rest of the pistils change over, but the stems are starting to bend under the weight of the buds. These ladies are putting on weight internally by adding density and now the buds are doing their final ripening.
Now you begin looking at trichomes, on the calyx, not the leaves, and harvest according to your preference. When looking at trichomes it’s essential to look at them from the side. The bulbous heads can magnify the opaque stalk under it. Looking from the side allows you to more accurately see the condition of the resin in the trichome head. The point of waiting for "some amber" is to allow the majority of the plant to actually reach the fully cloudy stage, and not be partially clear still.
There is still no rush to harvest, the window just opened, and you have several weeks before you MIGHT start having to think about it possibly beginning to get too ripe. It takes WEEKS for plants to mature not days.
It is very easy to harvest a plant to early. It is very hard to harvest a plant to late. I’ve never seen someone accidentally wait too long. "
I don’t count. What are your average flower runs in weeks since flip? Hard question to answer but what are your shorter and longer runs?
