It is, I started soaking it for at least an hour. Surprisingly it does not taste nasty, kind of weedy but in a good way. I think soaking at 0 degrees makes all the difference.
Oh I love the taste it tastes exactly how decarbed bud smells. It doesn't even really sting either I take a small sip of tea and open my mouth and drop it in. Yea I soak grain and bud in two separate jars for 24 hrs then add them together and leave in freezer for five days. Shacking jar few times a day for 3 min at a time.

Okay question can you make it without alcohol ?
How To Make A Cannabis Glycerine Tincture

Glycerin for Tinctures

The main benefits of making cannabis tincture with glycerin include:

  • Sweetness: Glycerin has a sweet and pleasant flavor that makes it an attractive solvent when making a herbal tincture.
  • Alcohol-free: The lack of alcohol makes the ingredient more suitable for an array of users, including those with an aversion to alcohol in general.
  • Moisturising: Some people use cannabis tinctures for topical purposes. Because glycerin has moisturising properties, it works much better for this purpose than strong alcohol, which can dry out the skin.
Some of the drawbacks of using glycerin when making tinctures include:

  • Extraction time: Glycerin takes longer to sufficiently extract cannabis phytochemicals than alcohol, which makes it unsuitable in some circumstances.
  • Solubility: Glycerin has a lower solubility than alcohol, meaning it doesn’t extract some desirable plant constituents as well.

When I tried glycerin it had almost no effect! I wonder if I messed up somewhere... I still have some in the closet because I thought I'd be using it more. Wonder if I didn't let it go long enough. It tasted like sweet bong water, lol

I thought of that also, couldn't remember the name of the stuff. It is used in making vape oil also.
