Every dollar Donald gets from the suckers is one less the republicans get, and he will need much more cash. I would look for red states and the RNC being forced to pay his legal fees, or else, it is primary season after all when Donald's power is at its peak.
I dunno who is gonna sell the assets and move the money around since he lost his bean counter and none of them have a brain between them. Seems to me everybody who works for him as a lawyer or an accountant is putting themselves at risk. They must be nervous and refusing to do illegal things now and Donald is probably still demanding they do them. Many will end up in court as witnesses if they criminally indict him in NY after the civil trial.

Paxton is a moron if he think this is gonna work. The nearest city i'm close to, the police won't arrest you or give you a citation, they'll just ask you to pour it out on the ground stomp on it and let u go. Most of the time it's just a citation if it's over a certain amount.....The ordinances were passed after being approved by voters in local ballot propositions. Republicans control a minority of the state Senate, 12 of the body’s 30 seats. By walking out, the Senate could not reach a quorum and conduct votes.
Five of the lawmakers challenged the secretary of state decision, arguing that the specific wording of the 2022 referendum should allow them one more term before being barred from office.
Court arguments focused on the grammar of the referendum, with each party arguing over when the election ban would take place.
The constitutional amendment says a lawmaker is not allowed to run “for the term following the election after the member’s current term is completed.” The lawmakers argued that would let them run again, as the election is held before the end of their terms, with the secretary of state and ultimately the state Supreme Court disagreeing.
The ballot referendum passed by a wide margin after similar GOP walkouts in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The senators opposed the ruling in a statement acquired by The Associated Press.

So, here it is. This initiative was passed by a good margin in 2022 because Republicans were stalling progress on important legislation, mainly the carbon tax laws and other measures to address climate change. Also it was used to stymie a legislative measure that replicated much of what was in the initiative to establish better gun regulations in Oregon. It's not a matter of crushing dissent, it's a matter of whether or not an illiberal minority can stop progress that most of the people in the state want, support and vote to see done. The Party of Trump has just been told they are irrelevant unless they can pivot to campaigning on ideas rather than proclamation.
Maybe at least in little old Oregon, we can have democracy rule again.

Perhaps you are like me.
Most artists (Tom Morello, e.g., excepted) know jack all about politics. I take their opinions accordingly. But lots of people heed their opinions, which pundits realize and then elevate those opinions - giving the artists yet more credence. So it's a feedback loop of meaninglessness foisted as value.
