oooook I finally got my digi PH reader and my soil is 8.6ish and my water is a wopping 9.1!!!! What is the best thing to use to bring it down? Also when I add what ever is recomended how long does it take for the PH to adjust to the proper level??? Any help would be excellent........

also, i dont know what you did, but im guessing that ur readings are just wrong. usually its best to calibrate the reader rather then just stick the freshly unpackaged reader into the water and measure whatever it reads out at first.

i forgot how one would do that though... sorry bout that i used to be an ocean specialist a few years ago i cant believe i forgot. give it a go at the search engine.

not sure where your from nug, but hard limestone water is near impossible to ph down scroll down to unholy water in this section and check out what i went thru . I finally settled for distilled...

LOL my bad needed calibration and upon further review the water 7.0 the soil 6.9 ish. Can I give them any nutes? They are 1 month old tomorrow
