Not necessarily but a lot of places have practically clear ones that you can't even see specks in. I at least like to see some spores floating around in it. I've shot up jars with practically clear ones and not all jars grew or were slow. Probably wouldnt matter as much for doing petri dishes

Only thing with ITW is they only do crypto, so I had to figure out how to do crypto transactions and purchase the crypto then transfer it to them, but it was better than not being able to order anything.
