About to upgrade my girls feeding to 1.5gal of nutrient water per plant they are in a 5gal fabric pot
Is that a good amount of water for them?

Might be a little under that. When you get to a gallon start checking the pot to see if it heavy or use a moisture meter. I now use wetring agents in my water and over time you should be able to knock out those dry spots. So I am a little under a gallon per plant. Before that I could be around 1.25 - 1.5 gallon. And that is slowing watering
( every 20 min) water til I see it coming out the sides and then I stop and wait 20 minutes before the next watering..

You’ll find that the amount of water needed varies based on plant size relative to the container, ambient RH, and temperature. While 1.5 gal is good for now that may change as roots develop and conditions vary. Lifting up on the pots to determine weight is an easy way to determine how often they need water.

Was about to water them this morning but the soil is still wet must need a feeding every 4 days now they are in week 4 of flower

I keep my bases full at all times. They will take what they want.
I bottom feed with them too, just best not to use organic nutes for it though.

Yeah I didn't catch the dates till after I posted :bigjoint:
The AC Infinity self watering bases ended up feeding my plants the runoff water that ran through pot from top feeding causing a bad nute lock out on all my plants biting them luckily I saved a good bit of each plant but the buds would have been wayyyyy prettier if that hadn’t of happened
The jars are currently curing I’ll post some pics

Glad you got some good bud from them!
In my experience if anything organic gets in the bases it's all bad. I clean mine weekly and also have air stones in them.
I'm feeding through mine...non organic nutes seem fine so far...into week 1 of flower. 2nd attempt at this...first time I tried with organics and like you I had issues. The growth is just amazing now. I'll probably open a thread on it for next grow...lol if I pull it off :eyesmoke:

I was using synthetic Advanced Nutrients

damn....that's what I'm using this time.
Really great nutrients using them again
I just got screwed by the self watering pot base feeding my plants run off water that totaled them pretty sure that’s what’s caused it
I’ll show you a before and after picture of my plants
